Verse Of The Day: So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. Psalms 90:12
LISTEN : Life is without directions where there is no wisdom. Yes, life loses its true meaning where there is no wisdom. Besides, destruction is inevitable where wisdom is absent. My dear, wisdom blesses us with life and peace. To be driven by wisdom is to be prepared for life and success. Wisdom is vital to fulfilling God’s purpose for your life. Therefore, pursue wisdom. True wisdom comes from God. You will grow in wisdom when you value and cherish the word of God. God’s word affects our mind and transforms our lives. True wisdom comes from God. True wisdom is to think the way God thinks. The word of God is the bank of wisdom. Wisdom in biblical sense is the “ability to judge correctly and follow the best course of action, based on knowledge and understanding. God’s word opens our eyes to the source of true wisdom by showing us His ways. Until we appreciate God’s word we cannot understand His ways or follow His will. Therefore, to understand the ways of God we must allow His word to dwell richly in our hearts.(Colossians 3:16). Until the word of God fills our hearts, it cannot affect our lives. Beloved, God’s word in our hearts will produce right actions and judgement. True wisdom is important because it will instill in us the fear of God. (Psalms 111:10; Pro15:33). God’s word teaches wisdom, and that enables us to live honestly and wisely in a corrupt system and society. But where God’s word is undermined, people will grow strong in sin and ungodliness. Beloved, no real wisdom comes outside the word of God. So, allow the word of God to teach you the ways of God. Be wise!

TOPIC : WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU NEGLECT GOD’S WORD
Monday, July 15, 2019
Bible Verse : Your word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against you. Psalms 119:11
LISTEN : It is not possible to live right when you neglect the words of God. Lots of people make decisions to live in accordance with God’s will, but found themselves deeply soaked in sin within a short period of time. Why? Because they ignore and neglect the words of God. God’s word is powerful and good enough to keep us from sin. People enjoy living in sin because they are bankrupt of the word of God. My dear, how much do you love the word of God? God’s words in your heart will influence your life positively. Your actions are based on the state of your heart. Therefore, if your heart is empty of God’s words, your actions will be dominated by evil. That is why we are urged to protect our hearts. The Bible says, “Guard your heart with all vigilance, for from it are the sources of life.” (Proverbs 4:23). Beloved, if you lose control of your heart, you have lost control of your life. So, guard your heart jealously with the words of God, because your life is a function of it. Do not play with God’s words, rather, take it seriously. Like David, hide the words of God in your heart. The Bible says, “Your word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against you.” (Psalms 119:11). Therefore, to honour God in your life, you must hide His word in your heart. Be wise!
Prayer : Almighty God, I surrender myself to you today. Therefore, don’t allow me to neglect your words henceforth, amen!
