Verse Of The Day : In everything, treat others as you would want them to treat you, for this fulfills the law and the prophets. Matthew 7:12
LISTEN : Lots of people tend to be cool with treating others the way they don’t want to be treated by others. They can gladly hurt others but hate to be hurt by others. They love to be inhumane toward others but want everyone to be humane to them. One may ask, “what exactly could make people act like that?” The answer is simple, it’s lack of love, selfishness and lack of the fear of God. Where these three ungodly lifestyles are present, nothing counts except self. The desire to please self can bury the command to love others. When all you care about is to please yourself, working for the well-being of others will mean nothing to you. My dear, let’s walk in love. Walking in love will not be difficult if we acknowledge that, God is love (1John 4:8). God wants us to treat others with love, the same way we’ll want them to treat us. He wants us to present before everyone what is honourable and acceptable. Let’s stop treating others like they’re worthless and begin to treat them with dignity because their life is worthwhile. We should treat others with love, respect and dignity. If we respect God’s word we can’t neglect to do what He directs us to do. My dear, God’s word is a guide to a holy living, fairness, justice, uprightness, harmony and cooperation among people. Therefore, let’s love others with the love of God and give to them what we desire to receive from them in return. Be wise!

TOPIC: SHOW YOUR WISDOM BY THE FEAR OF GOD
Bible Verse : And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the LORD, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding. Job 28:28
LISTEN : Beloved, show your wisdom by the fear of God. God is our heavenly Father and should be honoured and revered above all else. He loves us and wants us to love Him in return; and there is no better way to appreciate Him than to fear, obey, worship and honour Him. The wise fears God, but not so with the foolish and ungodly. The fear of God is fast disappearing from the hearts of men today. Beloved, where is the fear of God in your heart? If God is your creator, where is His honour? God’s problem with the Israelites was their lack of fear and honour for Him. They were ready to fear men, than fear God. Beloved, do you know that human wisdom is measured by the fear of God? (Job 29:29; Pro 9:10). Anyone who lacks the fear of God is empty of real life. My dear, always examine yourself and strive to have the fear of God in your heart. How much fear and love do you have for God? Are you putting His interest above yours? Or yours above His? Joseph was a slave boy in Potiphar’s house in Egypt, yet, he demonstrated the fear of God when his master’s wife asked to sleep with him. He clearly refused and said, “…how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” (Gen 39:9). Beloved, determine to honour and fear God always. Be wise!
Prayer : Everlasting Father, help me to honour and fear you always, amen!
