Verse Of The Day: For she kept saying, “If only I touch his clothes, I will be healed.” At once the bleeding stopped, and she felt in her body that she was healed of her disease. Mark 5:28-29 (NET).
LISTEN: You can’t receive from God without faith. Until you ask and walk in faith you will never receive anything from Him. The Bible says, “Now without faith it is impossible to please him…” (Hebrews 11:6). My dear, it’s a fruitless journey to follow God with no intention of exercising faith in Him. Faith is key to a relationship with God. Besides, faith is key to a miracle, and miracle brings testimony. This means that, absence of faith will amount to absence of miracle. But the presence of faith will trigger supernatural manifestation. If you trust God when the world has failed you, He will intervene and change your story. Our Bible verse of the day is an account of the woman with issue of blood. This woman had a plague that made her to bleed continuously for twelve years. Her life was messed up, her health broke down and her life was covered with shame and misery. However, when she heard about Jesus, she took a bold step of faith and said, “If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.” (Mark 5:28). Then she pushed through the crowd and touched the garment of Jesus, immediately, the bleeding stopped. Her miracle came. Isn’t that interesting? She got her healing by faith. This means that, she would have died of her health condition if she had neglected to come to Jesus Christ by faith. Beloved, what are you going through today? Do you have faith in God? Then, calm down and tell it to Jesus. I assure you that, you’ll go back home with joy. Be wise!

TOPIC : FORTIFY YOURSELF WITH GOD’S PRESENCE
Thursday, August 22, 2019
Bible Verse : And it came to pass, when the ark set forward, that Moses said, Rise up, LORD, and let your enemies be scattered; and let them that hate you flee before you. Numbers 10:35
LISTEN: To fortify is to increase the defense of. You increase your defense when you have God’s presence with you. It’s dangerous and foolish to walk alone and go through life without God. God’s presence is a guarantee of safety and protection. Where God’s presence is available victory is achievable. He who chooses to go with the presence of God has chosen the path of victory and joy. When the Israelites left Egypt and encamped in the wilderness, God ordered Moses to build a mobile tabernacle that will house the ark of covenant which is “a symbol of His presence.” With the ark of the LORD, the children of Israel made war and defeated their enemies. Beloved, life is full of endless battles. Sadly, those who are not well equipped for it end up as victims and losers. The devil is not tired of making war with humanity, especially those who claim to serve God. We can’t pretend to not be aware of these battles. How we fight will determine how we will come out of it, either wounded and defeated, or protected and victorious. In this battle, the only guarantee for victory is the presence of God. So, seek the presence of God and you’ll not be defeated. Remember, to be empty of God’s presence is to be opened to destruction. Be wise!
Prayer: Dear Lord, I hide myself in you. Keep me from destruction, in Jesus’ name, amen.
