Verse Of The Day : How sweet are Your words to my taste! More than honey to my mouth! Psalms 119:103

LISTEN : We respond to the word of God differently when we receive it. Some people receive it with joy, while others feel unhappy about it. They express so much contempt and bitterness for the word of God. They’re always running away from the infallible word. My dear, don’t run away from the word of God, instead, receive it with joy. Besides, we should not only receive the word of God with joy, but thirst and hunger for it daily. However, until we grow our love for the word of God, the word won’t taste good in our mouth, and we won’t feel good about it either. We’ll keep running away from it because we are not spending time to discover how sweet the word of God is. Like a little child who had tasted bitter syrup would reject sweet one at sight, thinking it’s bitter. So also would those who have not tasted the goodness of God’s word reject it. But the moment they discover that the word of God is sweet after all, like a little child would ask for more of sweet, they’ll ask for more of the word. David said, “How sweet are Your words to my taste! More than honey to my mouth!” (Psalms 119:103). Beloved, you can’t discover God until you love and crave for more of His word. Your love for God’s word will produce your love for God. And your love for God will produce His blessings for you. The Bible says, “O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusts in him.” (Psalms 34:8). My dear, the word of God is sweet. It gladdens the soul and brings relief to aching hearts. It’s the balm that soothes our pain. It renews hope, courage and confidence where darkness and hopelessness rules. So, go for the word of God. Be wise!

Bible Verse : For we walk by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7

LISTEN: Walk by faith and live, or by fear and perish. You’ll fail or succeed by what controls your mind. Life is a battle field, either you fight by faith or be defeated by fear. However, God is urging you to have faith, so that He will assist you in these battles of life. When Satan comes, he comes to kill, steal and destroy. (John 10:10). His intention is to leave you miserable and heartbroken. Beloved, whatever you’re passing through, the devil’s intention is to see you give up on life and die unfulfilled? But I have good news for you, it’s not yet over with you, God is still working for you behind the scenes ; and the raging battles of your life will soon be over as you call on God for intervention. (Psalms 18:3). My dear, you’re not alone. God is with you. He will revive and refresh you with abundant life when the battle is over. Be strong and learn to live by faith, not by sight. (2 Cor.5:7). To live by faith is to anchor your hope in God. It is to believe God for the impossible (Luke 1:37). Besides, it means to believe that whatever you are going through will soon be over. Henceforth, don’t be distracted by what you see around you, instead, trust in the LORD and you will certainly receive divine intervention. Be wise!

Prayer : Everlasting Father, help me to walk by faith as long as I live, in Jesus’ name, amen.
