Verse Of The Day : The LORD has heard my appeal for mercy; the LORD has accepted my prayer. Psalms 6:9 (NET).
LISTEN : There’s no point praying when you know your heart is not in it. When your heart is not in your prayer, God is not expected to answer it. Yes, when prayer is empty of faith, it becomes a mere expression of words. My dear, the heart of prayer is prayer from the heart. You must pray from your heart and not just from your head. You must pray and trust God to answer you. A man once said, “Prayer is the voice of faith trusting that God knows and cares.” As a matter of fact, it’s an insult to God, and a waste of time and words to you, to pray without the confidence that, your prayers are already answered. Beloved, when you come to the altar of prayer, come with confidence. That is, come with faith. Don’t give room to doubt and fear. Pray and have faith in your prayers. Yes, have faith in God. The Bible says, “Therefore let us confidently approach the throne of grace to receive mercy and find grace whenever we need help.“ (Hebrews 4:16 NET). The ears of God are opened to hear your helpless cry and miseries. So, come before Him with your prayers in faith. His throne is always accessible to all His children. He will hear you. The Psalmist said, “The LORD has heard my appeal for mercy; the LORD has accepted my prayer.” (Psalms 6:9 NET). Henceforth, pray and have faith in your prayers because God lives. Be wise!

TOPIC : WE NEED JESUS CHRIST

Bible Verse : I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. John 15:5
LISTEN: Jesus is everything you need. He stated categorically that, His disciples (we) can do nothing without Him. Which means that, to walk apart from Jesus Christ is to choose to fail. God wants us to be fruitful, that is, He wants us to produce good results and become abundantly productive. Therefore, we should abide in Him to achieve that purpose. God wants us to be productive for His kingdom. He wants us to impact lives around the world and turn them over to Him. Beloved, God’s desire for us is to faithfully serve Him by spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ around the world, and consistently live in line with His will. However, we can’t achieve all these until we have chosen to connect and commit ourselves to Him. Our Bible verse says, “I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5). My dear, we can only draw our strength from God. Hence, when the believer is disconnected from Christ, it’s practically impossible to achieve anything for the kingdom of God. Be wise!
Prayer : Eternal God, I acknowledged that I can do nothing without Christ. Therefore, I surrender myself to you today, amen.
