Verse Of The Day : For God did not give us a Spirit of fear but of power and love and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7

LISTEN : You can overcome fear by faith. When you walk by faith, fear will suffocate and die in your life. Where faith is enthroned fear will be enslaved. However, until you enthrone the Spirit of God in your heart fear will continue to torment your life. Beloved, walk by faith and you’ll not doubt what God says about you. The truth is, until you believe what God says about you, you’ll walk in fear, be intimidated and tormented by the devil all your life. Thankfully, we have been greatly empowered to overcome fear by the power of God, love and self-control. The Bible says, “For God did not give us a Spirit of fear but of power and love and self-control.” (2 Timothy 1:7). My dear, God has blessed us with His Spirit to live boldly and overcome this wicked world. Spirit of fear is not part of what we received from God. We are designed to be very confident and fearless before danger, and to trust in the ever living and faithful God. Yes, we have divine authority to trample on the devil and his agents. We should have control over our feelings and actions and walk within what God approves. Beloved, faith is vital to our survival in this life. Trust me, the devil and circumstances of life will ruin our lives if we choose to be empty of faith, courage, power, Love and self-control. So, embrace the word of God today and your life won’t be ruined by Satan and circumstances of life. Be wise!

TOPIC: STOP SUFFERING FROM SPIRITUAL MALNUTRITION

Bible Verse : As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that you may grow thereby: 1 Peter 2:2

LISTEN : Lots of people are suffering from spiritual malnutrition. They are not properly feeding on the word of God, therefore, they can’t grow or mature in faith. My dear, we eat food not just to satisfy our hunger, but to be strong, grow healthy and stay alive. Growth and life generally can’t be sustained without food. In the same way, our spiritual life can’t be sustained without spiritual food (the word of God). To grow spiritually we should thirst after God. When we hunger and thirst after God and His righteousness, nothing will satisfy our hungry soul but God alone. Only His words can truly satisfy our spiritual needs. Beloved, your hunger for God begins when you realise your emptiness without Him, and the need to desire His words. (John 15:5). We are to hunger for God’s word the way we hunger for physical food. God’s word is key to spiritual growth and maturity. Sincerely, we can’t attain God’s expectations if we don’t desire His words. Our Bible verse says, “As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that you may grow thereby:” (1 Peter 2:2). Beloved, to be spiritually strong and mature, you must desire God’s word the same way a baby would desire his or her mother’s breast milk. So, embrace, study and meditate on God’s word to grow in line with His will. Be wise!

Prayer : Everlasting Father, help me to embrace your words and nourish my spirit, in Jesus’ name, amen.
