Verse Of The Day : Let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. 1John 3:18
LISTEN : Love that doesn’t sacrifice is no love. For the beauty of love is in its ability to make sacrifices. Love is not real unless it is expressed by action. You can have a lot of love “in your heart” that never does anyone any good if you don’t express and act on it. The love of God is known through the sacrifice of His Son Jesus Christ for our sins. The Bible says, “But God demonstrates his own love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”(Romans 5:8). This is why the Bible is urging us to love others with our hearts. Our verse of the day says, “Let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.” (1John 3:18). Real love doesn’t end in words, rather it grows into action. Love is not “a thing of the lip”, but “a thing of the heart.” When your mouth says, “I love you”, your heart should be moved to act. When we love just with the mouth we deceive, but when we love from the heart we bless our object of love. Imagine God saying He loves humanity without doing anything to remedy the fall of man in Eden, is it possible to believe He truly loves us? The answer is No! We believe in the love of God for man because He made the ultimate sacrifice with His Son. His love for us is demonstrated by giving. In the same way, if you claim to love someone you should be willing to give to his or her well-being. Henceforth, make sacrifices for others, because sacrifice is the evidence of true love. Remember, love makes sacrifices. Be wise!

TOPIC : ANGER FACTOR

Bible Verse : Be angry and sin not; do not let the sun go down on the cause of your anger. Do not give the devil an opportunity. Ephesians 4:26-27
LISTEN: Anger is a major problem in the world. People often suffer pain and harm because of the inability to overcome spirit of anger and bitterness. What is anger? It is to make (someone) angry. It is a feeling of being upset or annoyed because of something wrong or bad. This feeling makes someone want to hurt other people, shout at them, or do other hurtful actions to them. Beloved, offenses will surely come, but you have a choice to react wisely. When you allow anger to take root in your heart it will lead to resentment and taking decisions against the will of God. When you fail to overcome spirit of anger, it will lead you into more troubles. (Eccles 7:9). Therefore, we should follow what God has done for us through Christ Jesus. God forgave us through His Son Jesus Christ. Hence, we’re to extend same to others when they hurt us. God didn’t say we should not be angry at all, but that we shouldn’t allow anger to drag us to sin. The Bible says, “Do not let the sun go down on the cause of your anger.” (v.26b). The meaning of which is, “learn to let go of Offenses as quickly as possible ; and embrace peace when you are hurt by someone, so that the devil will not use the opportunity to lead you into a bigger problem.” (v.27). Henceforth, don’t carry around grudges and resentment, instead, commit all to God. Remember, uncontrolled anger is a major problem for humanity; let’s not spread it. Be wise!
Prayer : Dear Lord, help me to deal with anger in my life, amen.
