Verse Of The Day : For if you forgive others their sins, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others, your Father will not forgive you your sins. Matthew 6:14-15
LISTEN : You must forgive others if you want God to forgive you. It won’t be difficult to forgive if you have respect for the word of God. Lots of people struggle with forgiveness because they’re not ready to obey God. Couple of months ago, I told a story about a church member, after listening to a message that bothers on forgiveness, asked his Pastor privately and said, “Pastor, you said ‘we should overcome evil with good’, right? If you hear my story you won’t blame me for refusing to forgive.” His Pastor replied, “My dear, I feel your pain. Tell me your story.” The church member said, “I was thirteen years old when my parents died in autocrash. And this my uncle took over my father’s properties and never cared about my mother and I. He has made our lives miserable and I won’t forgive him.” His Pastor replied, “Beloved, you must forgive him. Your faith in Christ Jesus has no base without forgiveness. You belong to God today because God forgave you through the death of His son Jesus Christ. So, forgive him and leave his judgment in the hands of God.” Friend, this Pastor’s advice to his church member is my advice to you today. Leave vengeance to God. No matter how bad you’ve been hurt, God can heal the wound if you allow Him. Just forgive! Forgiveness can’t change the past, but it can change the present and the future. It can change the way you feel, affects your relationship with God positively, and ultimately affects your life. It is said that, “Forgiveness is the ultimate antidote to the poison of loss, harm, sin, and sorrow, even though it looks like the most bitter of cures.” My dear, when you disregard the bitterness of forgiveness and go ahead to swallow it as a pill, you’ll soon realise that, your general health to an extent, depends on it. So, just forgive. Be wise!

TOPIC : PUT YOUR FAITH TO WORK
Monday, November 25, 2019
Bible Verse : What good is it, my brothers, if a man says he has faith, but has no works? Can faith save him? Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead in itself. James 2:14,17
LISTEN : My dear, put your faith to work. Work is the action of faith. Hence, faith without work is dead. The power of faith is in taking necessary actions. Every good step you take moves you to a new level. As much as we pray everyday for a change of level, we must also take the necessary actions to get there. We must make the needed sacrifice to accelerate results. On a daily basis, learn to act and make sacrifice in prayer. Pray when you feel like, and when you don’t feel like it. It is when you act and pray when you don’t feel like it, that you trigger results. Don’t be lazy to pray, think and act, instead, rise and talk to God with expectation. David said, “LORD, in the morning you will hear me; in the morning I will present my case to you and then wait expectantly for an answer.” (Psalms 5:3). Beloved, learn to think and act to attain what God has designed you to be. Don’t fold your hands and wait for ‘manna” to fall, rather, act in faith and cause God’s goodness to happen in your life. Be wise!
Prayer : Everlasting Father, I thank you because you’re God. Help me to always act in faith, in Jesus’ name, amen!
