Verse Of The Day: In everything, treat others as you would want them to treat you, for this fulfills the law and the prophets. Matthew 7:12
LISTEN: Love is give and take. In a world like ours you must give love to expect love from others. Sometimes people complain about not being loved by others. But failed to understand that, to be loved, one should love others as well. You should give what you want to receive in return. My dear, if you sow the seed of love you will reap the harvest of love. In the same way, if you sow the seed of hatred you’ll reap same in return. So, learn to be who you want others to be to you, and stop treating others the way you won’t like to be treated. God wants us to present to others what is honourable and acceptable. (2Corinthians 8:21). In other words, we shouldn’t do, or say anything to others with the intention to deceive or harm them. As a matter of fact, we should learn to treat others with love, respect and dignity. Beloved, if we profess to know God, His Word should be our guide to a holy living, fairness, justice, uprightness, love and the like. Besides, His word should be the foundation of our actions. When His word is the foundation on which our actions are based, wrong actions and mistreatment of others will appear disgusting to us. My dear, our God is a good God and He loves uprightness and fairness. Therefore, let us stop mistreating, oppressing, afflicting and treating others unfairly, and begin to treat others the way we will like to be treated by others. Remember, you must love to be loved. Be wise!

TOPIC : SING TO GOD
Thursday, December 5, 2019
Bible Verse : I will sing to the LORD, because he has been good to me. Psalms 13:6
LISTEN : Beloved, your praise belongs to God. God wants you to use your voice to praise Him in songs. Yes, His goodness to humanity should trigger a heart of praise. Let us rejoice in the Lord for He is good, and His mercy endures forever. (Psalms 136:1-25). Let us sing to God for He is good to all, both young and old. No one can deny His goodness to humanity. He created the sun to give heat (warmth) and lighten the day; the moon to lighten the night. Rain to water our vegetations and to produce food enough to sustain us. He blesses us with many water sources (sea, rivers, streams, springs, swamps, lakes, lagoon, oceans, etc.); above all, He blesses us with life. Beloved, your life today is God’s goodness to you. Never take it for granted, or complain about what you think is not good enough in your life. Learn to acknowledge and appreciate the goodness of God no matter what. If you can praise God for what He has done for you no matter how little, He’ll do the unimaginable for you. David understands how reasonable it is to reciprocate God’s goodness, and he said, “I will sing to the LORD, because he has been good to me.” (Psalms 13:6). Beloved, is God not good to you? If really He is good to you, then, sing and honour Him for His goodness in your life today, and never stop to rejoice for what God has done for you. Be wise!
Prayer : Dear Lord, help me to sing to you now and forever, amen.
