Verse Of The Day : Open my eyes so I can truly see the marvelous things in your law! Psalms 119:18
LISTEN : You will never understand what God does not reveal. (Deut. 29:29). To know His ways you should ask him to open your eyes. Imagine yourself being blindfolded and led away by unknown persons to an unknown place; would it be possible for you to identify where you are? Will you see things clearly? And if you are abandoned there, will it be easy for you to find your way back home without help? Of course not! In the same way, you cannot discover mysteries from the word of God unless your eyes are opened. However, for your eyes to be opened, you must desire it. David prayed, “Open my eyes so I can truly see the marvelous things in your law!” (Psalms 119:18). This simply means that we all need divine help to see things from God’s perspectives. Beloved, without divine help you cannot understand the language of God. You cannot understand the word of God unless your eyes are opened spiritually. Spiritual blindness is responsible for rejecting the words of God. (Acts 26:18). Truly, if you are blind, it will be difficult to know the right way to go. My dear, there are beautiful things for you in the word of God; but until your eyes are opened you cannot discover them. (Ephesians 1:17-18). When your eyes are opened, the coverings of ignorance will disappear. You cannot grope anymore to find your way when you walk in the light of God. Like the joy of a blind person who suddenly regains his sight, you will experience unspeakable joy when your eyes are opened to hidden truths and blessings in the word of God. Beloved, ask God to open your eyes today and you will discover hidden truths in His word. Remember, you will not understand the will of God until your eyes are opened. Be wise!

Bible Verse : Because of the oppression of the weak and because of the groaning of the needy, I will now arise,” says the LORD; “I will set him in safety from those who malign him. Psalms 12:5
LISTEN : Cheer up! You will not be put to shame. God will surely rescue you when it appears impossible. He will not abandon the oppressed and afflicted. He sees the miseries and gnashing of teeth of the oppressed. He listens to their day to day groaning. (Exodus 3:7). Though, sometimes it may seem like He is taking too long to intervene, surely, He will eventually intervene. (Luke 18:7,8). He will certainly break the yoke of oppression in the neck of the oppressed. Beloved, are you oppressed physically, mentally, or spiritually? Have you been unfairly and cruelly treated? Is your heart broken and pierced with sadness or memories of afflictions and oppressions? Are you terrified because of increase of oppression in your life? Do not be afraid; God will deliver you from your oppressors. The Bible says, “Because of the oppression of the weak and because of the groaning of the needy, I will now arise,” says the LORD; “I will set him in safety from those who malign him.” (Psalms 12:5). God is the voice of the voiceless, defender of the vulnerable ; and hope of the hopeless. With Him, no oppressor is too powerful to be subdued. When you acknowledge God and surrender to Him, your battle becomes His battle and victory is sure. So, cheer up! God will not allow you to be put to shame. Remember, shame is not your portion. Be wise!
Prayer : Dear Lord, I thank you because you are God. Save me from shame and all evil, amen.
