Verse Of The Day : Whoso offers praise glorifies me: and to him that orders his conversation aright will I show the salvation of God. Psalms 50:23
LISTEN: God is glorified and honoured when we offer words of homage as act of our worship to Him. Our praises belong to God. Praise is a powerful tool for creating an atmosphere of fellowship with God. He who employs praise will attract the presence of God (2Kings 3:15-17). Praise moves God and blesses the praiser. To praise God is to express thanks to or love and respect for Him. It is to say good things about Him for all He has done or yet to do. Praise gladdens the heart of God and opens His hands to give to the one who asked of Him. When God is praised miracles happen. Because praise brings glory to God, he who praises Him glorifies Him. Therefore, He responds to such act of honour with blessings. My dear, do you give praise to God for His goodness towards you? When your mouth is full of praise to God, He will fill your hands with His favour. If you can praise God in spite of troubles, God can honour and deliver you from evil matter what. Do not quit praising God, for praise is God’s will for His people. (1 Thessalonians 5:18). If you can praise Him irrespective of any situation in your life, He will reveal His power to you and deliver and bless you beyond measure. Beloved, let us give praise to God because, we glorify Him when we praise Him; we trigger fellowship with Him and provoke worship when we praise Him. Yes, you cannot praise God and not worship Him. When your heart is full of praise to God you cannot struggle to worship Him. My dear, learn to praise God and you will trigger the spirit of worship. Be wise!

TOPIC: WISDOM – ORIENTED LIFE

Bible Verse : A person is praised in accordance with his wisdom, but the one who has a twisted mind is despised. Proverbs 12:8
LISTEN : True wisdom is key to honour, favour and life. Wisdom is wonderful, and it is the beauty of life. What is wisdom? Wisdom is simply a good sense or judgment : right application of knowledge. Wisdom is very key to life. Life without wisdom is empty of purpose and directions; and life without purpose lacks meaning. Wisdom brings honour, and lack of it brings disgrace. One’s level of wisdom will determine how far one will go in life. It will determine the kind of people that will be willing to associate with you. Wisdom brings success, and everyone wants to identify with success. No one wants to be part of failure. Yet, a lot of people are not doing enough to get wisdom. The Bible says, “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all your getting get understanding.” (Proverbs 4:7). True wisdom comes from God, hence, to get it you must have God. Wisdom is wrapped in the word of God, therefore, to walk in God’s wisdom you must deep yourself in God’s word. The deeper you go into the words of God the wiser you become. (Psalms 119:100). Wisdom keeps you from a crooked lifestyle and reckless use of your tongue. Beloved, you cannot be ungodly or irrelevant when you walk in true wisdom. So, pursue wisdom and honour will pursue you ; despise it and you will be despised. Henceforth, make your life an expression of wisdom. Be wise!
Prayer : Dear Lord, thank you for your word. Henceforth, make my life an expression of wisdom, amen.
