Verse Of The Day : If a man dies, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come. Job 14:14

LISTEN : Trouble is part of life. Hence, attempting to end your life because of pressure is a proof that you are fighting the battles of life all alone. Pressure builds when we ignore God. But when we walk with Him He takes care of our troubles. My dear, be strong and courageous. You can’t survive the pressures of this life unless you are determined to be courageous, patient, hopeful and resilient. Besides, you can’t express all of these virtues if you are not willing to live by faith in God. No doubt, life will give you pressure, but faith in God will ease your burdens (Matthew 11:28-30). Don’t waste your life worrying about your problems, instead, spend your time in fellowship with the Spirit of God. When you bother yourself unnecessarily about life, you will wish to end it before it actually ends. Couple of months ago, I told a story about a Pastor who decided to commit suicide because of his nagging wife. One day, when his wife and children were still asleep, he woke up and headed to the river to drown himself. As he was walking along, he heard a voice from behind, laughing at him “ha-ha-ha” and said, “Look at him, he called himself a Pastor but he can’t endure afflictions.” The Pastor turned around to see who was talking, and was shocked to find out that a mad man was the one talking; he ignored him and moved on. As he was approaching the river the mad man spoke again and said, “Look at him, a Pastor who wants to drown himself because of problems. Between the two of us, who is the mad man? I have a problem but I never wish to kill myself like you foolish man. Why do you want to kill yourself? Go back home and face your problems with faith.” As he turned to confront the mad man, he saw no one. Immediately, he changed his mind and hurriedly returned home. Beloved, don’t kill yourself because of problems. Your condition can’t be as bad as Job’s. Yet he said, “If a man dies, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.”(Job 14:14). So, have faith in God and never kill yourself for what could be fixed. Remember, suicide is not an option to your problems. Be wise!

EVENING

TOPIC : GOD WILL SURELY ANSWER YOUR PRAYERS

Saturday, February 29, 2020

Verse Of The Day : Continue steadfastly in prayer, watching therein with thanksgiving. Colossians 4:2

LISTEN : God will surely answer your prayers of faith. Earnest prayer brings answers to those who ask of God. My dear, are you troubled? Pray! Are you sick and weak, and has done all you know but nothing seems to change? Pray! Are you experiencing crisis in your life right now? Pray! (James 5:13,15). Is your life fallen apart? Pray. Prayer gives peace to a troubled heart. It leaves worries in the hands of a loving and caring God. He who prays in faith can’t be addicted to worry. (Philippians 4:6,7). In prayer, problems are surrendered to God in anticipation of a positive outcome. When you pray knowing that God has heard you, you can’t live in fear of your circumstances. To experience the joy and benefits of prayer you should pray with thanksgiving. You should thank God in advance believing that He has heard you. Celebrate His promises and accept them as yours. Beloved, without faith it is difficult to pray in times of troubles, and more difficult to pray with thanksgiving. People see prayer as a slow process to receiving answers to their problems. But those who understand the importance of prayer can’t neglect to pray, because they know that when God answers prayer, He gives a lasting solution. My dear, keep praying and pray with thanksgiving. Never wait to see results before you thank God, instead, thank Him to see results. Be wise!

Prayer : Dear Lord, pour on me the heart of prayer, and make me to thank you for your goodness in my life, amen!
