Verse Of The Day: For you have armed me with strength for the battle. You have subdued under me those who rose up against me. 2 Samuel 22:40

LISTEN: Lots of people who claim to believe in God are too weak to truly believes in Him; too blind to see His mighty works in the world; too faithless to trust Him with their problems; and too natural to embrace the supernatural. My dear, you won’t know what you have in God until you develop your faith. When you look inward, you’ll discover that, you’ve been divinely empowered to face the battles of life and to conquer. Every genuine believer in Christ Jesus has God’s power within him or her. However, unless you acknowledge this truth, the devil will make you to believe that you’re defeated. My dear, you’re favoured because you’re divinely armed for the battles of life. You can never lose the battle when you’re clothed in God’s armour. Friend, are you faced with trials and temptation? Is your life threatened? Are you confused about what else to do? Are you wondering when all your problems will be over? Beloved, don’t be afraid. You can overcome your fears by placing your hope in God. This is possible to achieve when you grow your faith. When you trust God, He will arm you with strength to make it through the storm. Beloved, no matter what you’re going through right now, God knows and wants to help you. But you must acknowledge Him as your Saviour and source of strength. In our verse of the day, David acknowledged and revered God as his deliverer, stronghold and source of strength. (2 Samuel 22:40). He acknowledged and praised God as the one behind his victory over all his enemies (2 Samuel 22:3). David made it through the storm because his hope was in the living God. In spite of his trials and afflictions he could boldly say, “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for you are with me; your rod and your staff they comfort me.” (Psalms 23:4). Beloved, don’t be afraid, just put your hope in God and you’ll make it through the storm of your life. So, remember to use the power of God within you. Be wise!

TOPIC : YOU ARE NOT YET MATURE IF YOU HATE FELLOW CHRISTIANS

Thursday, February 19, 2020

Bible Verse : But the one who hates his fellow Christian is in the darkness, walks in the darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes. 1John 2:11

LISTEN : As Christians, we are of God. We are God’s chosen generation. However, we can’t appreciate this fact until we put on the nature of God. My dear, love is the nature of God (1 John 4:8).We can’t walk in love at the same time hate one another. It’s abominable. Besides, we can’t claim to worship God if there’s no love for Him and humanity (1John 4:20,21). Love for humanity, especially those who are of the household of faith (fellow believers in Christ) ) is pleasing to God. We should love others dearly and unconditionally. That is, we should show interest in the well-being of others and make sacrifices for them no matter what. That is the nature of God. God is love and does everything in love. Therefore, once we have received His love as His children, He expects us to love others just the same way He loves us. My dear, our claim of piety is in vain if love is missing in our lives. The Bible says,“Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love” (1 John 4:8). This means that, not to love others is not to love God. When you refuse to love others even after embracing Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, then you don’t belong to God. You’re still in the darkness and your eyes are blinded. Beloved, open your eyes to the light of the gospel of truth and you’ll live. Be wise!

Prayer : Dear Lord, help me to understand that I belong to you, and therefore affect the world positively, amen.
