Verse Of The Day : … but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. Daniel 11:32

LISTEN : It is impossible to understand a mystery until it is revealed. What you know often determines what you can do. And what is revealed is key to what you can manifest. You can’t possibly undertake anything serious for God if you lack divine knowledge. It therefore follows that, your knowledge of God determines your relationship with Him. You can’t do much for God if you don’t know much about Him. Yes, the deeper your revelation about God the more likely your exploits for Him. No doubt, the pressure we children of God face in the world will either result in staying dedicated to God, or renouncing Him. Those who are not strong and committed will renounce Him when the going gets tough. The truth is, no person can stand pressure in the name of God when he or she is chicken hearted. We need to be determine and dogged to be the kind of people God wants us to be for His kingdom. My dear, you’re to be on fire for God. What does it mean to be on fire for God? It means to sustain one’s commitment and dedication to God (Daniel 3:16-18); to keep burning the incense of prayer; to do exploits for God and to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ with passion (see Acts 8:1-8,40). But what creates the atmosphere of being on fire for God? The atmosphere for being on fire for God is created through love and fear of God; spiritual knowledge; self-discipline; right association, etc. My dear, God wants you to be on fire for Him. So, strive to catch this fire now and always; for this is the time to offer your best to God. Beloved, when you’re on fire for God you can’t stop burning for Him. Remember, deeper knowledge of God would trigger passion for kingdom exploits. Be wise

TOPIC: JUST HAVE FAITH IN GOD

Thursday, March 19, 2020

Bible Verse : Jesus said to them, “Have faith in God.” Mark 11 : 22

LISTEN : Faith is key to miracle. And nothing happens with God without faith. Peter just reminded Jesus of the fig tree He had cursed the previous day, noting that it had withered; but Jesus Christ replied, “Have faith in God.” I believe this was not the kind of answer Peter expected to receive. However, Jesus gave the answer because He wanted His disciples to learn a big lesson from the incident of the fig tree. He wants them to know that faith in God can make everything possible. When Peter expressed surprise over the withered fig tree, Jesus Christ in His reply challenged him to grow stronger in faith if he must walk in the realm of possibilities. When Jesus urged him to have faith in God, He was saying something like, “You shouldn’t be surprised that God did what I asked Him! You too must trust that God will do whatever you ask him to do!” In other words, He was challenging every believer in Christ Jesus to live in faith no matter the circumstance ; only until then can we receive what God has freely given to us. Beloved, the problem we have when we pray is not that there is no God to answer, but that there is no faith to receive. If there is faith to receive, nothing shall be impossible to us. (Mark 9:23). When there is no faith we limit ourselves. Henceforth, determine to grow your faith in God and you’ll grow in His grace. Be wise!

Prayer : Dear Lord, in all situations, help me to put my trust in you, in Jesus’ name, amen.
