Verse Of The Day: For she kept saying, “If only I touch his clothes, I will be healed.” At once the bleeding stopped, and she felt in her body that she was healed of her disease. Mark 5:28-29 (NET).

LISTEN: The things, systems and people the world has ever relied on can’t provide any significant solution to the problem (COVID – 19) the world is facing right now. Lockdown is the measure some countries have adopted so far to contain the virus because there has not been found any vaccine for it. But how long can we be isolated? Right now, a lot of things are falling apart and it is obvious that we need divine help. Believe it or not, there is power behind the existence of the universe, and God who created the heavens and earth is that Power. He has blessed humanity with wisdom to do virtually anything. Sadly, we take it for granted thinking we don’t need Him. Wait a minute! Assuming God decides to end the world with COVID-19 (coronavirus), do you think anyone can escape? I think God allows this global menace to teach us a vital lesson if we’re ready to learn. Brethren, we need God in a time like this. However, we can’t receive from God without faith. Yes, until we ask and walk in faith we will never receive anything from Him. The Bible says, Now without faith it is impossible to please him…” (Hebrews 11:6). Faith in this context is to have complete trust and confidence in God. My dear, it’s a fruitless journey to follow God with no intention of exercising faith in Him. Faith is key to a relationship with God. Besides, faith is key to a miracle, and miracle brings testimony. This means that, absence of faith will amount to absence of miracle. But the presence of faith will trigger supernatural intervention. If you trust God when the world has failed you, He will intervene and change your story. Our Bible verse of the day is an account of the woman with issue of blood. This woman had a plague that made her to bleed continuously for twelve years. Her life was messed up, her health broke down and her life was covered with shame and misery. However, when she heard about Jesus, she took a bold step of faith and said, “If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.” (Mark 5:28). Then she pushed through the crowd and touched the garment of Jesus, immediately, the bleeding stopped. Her miracle came. Isn’t that interesting? She got her healing by faith. You can receive same too. Be wise!

TOPIC : IS IT POSSIBLE TO MISS HEAVEN?

Bible Verse : Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth. Colossians 3:2

LISTEN : Is it possible to miss heaven? The answer is yes. Heaven is not a place for unprepared and careless people. My dear, be wise lest you miss heaven. The truth is, you can miss heaven if your heart is stolen by the world and materialism. My dear, eternal life should be your ultimate goal. Always reflect on life after death. When you think in this direction, God will help you to act wisely. Thought triggers actions, and your actions will determine your success or failure in life. It will equally determine where you will spend eternity – heaven or hell. That’s why it’s vital to direct your thoughts in line with the will of God. In our Bible verse , we are urged to think about things that are above and not about things that are on the earth (Colossians 3:2). We should constantly desire the blessings that God has prepared for us in heaven. (1 Corinthians 2:9,10); and bother ourselves with the things of heaven and abstain from evil in the world. Besides, our minds should be consumed with thoughts of “a blissful life with God after our earthly life.” We should always think about our eternal home, a place of peace, free from crisis, heartbreak, sicknesses and diseases, death and sorrow, etc. My dear, don’t you want to be part of the eternal bliss? Please make the right choice today. Be wise!

Prayer : Dear Lord, help me to be conscious of eternity as long as I live, amen.
