Author : Bishop Julius Okarike

Verse Of The Day : Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against you shall fall for your sake. Isaiah 54:15

LISTEN : Troubles of life are endless and the power of God is limitless too. God deals with our problems when we put our trust in Him. The truth is, when you make God your own focus He focuses on dealing with your own troubles. My dear, learn to see God in your troubles and not focused on your threats or enemies. Enemies and threats are always there, just like we have the coronavirus in the world today; but they’re powerless where God reigns. We’re not ignorant of wickedness of men. We know that the devil roams about and roars like a lion; but Jesus Christ the Lion of the tribe of Judah protects us against his attacks. Christ defeated him for us on the cross and stripped him of his powers. That means, in all our battles victory is guaranteed. So, don’t be afraid no matter what. God promises to defeat those who are against us if we obey His words (Exodus 23:22; Isaiah 45:2). No matter the power of Satan, disease or wicked people, the power of God is supreme. When you honour God and lives in obedience to Him, you will activate your authority as a believer. When you put your faith in God your enemies will surrender to you because God will be your defense. No matter the forces that are against you, if the living God is on your side, you’ll defeat them as one man. Yes! The Bible says,“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31). My dear, we have a God who cares about His people. He’ll not allow you to play into the hands of your enemies or be destroyed by the virus ravaging the world today. He’ll keep you because He promises to keep those who love and fear Him. However, we must not take our relationship with Him lightly or give the devil a chance to overcome us. When we obey God and put our trust in Him, He fights our battles and make us more than conquerors. Beloved, put your eyes on God, not on your troubles. Be wise!

EVENING

TOPIC : GOD SEES YOUR AFFLICTION

Saturday, April 4, 2020

Bible Verse : For it is right for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you. 2 Thessalonians 1:6

LISTEN : God sees our afflictions and will surely afflicts those who find joy in afflicting us. My dear, there is time for everything. And those who oppress and afflict you will receive same from God. Beloved, you are precious to God, you are special and the ‘apple of His eyes’. Therefore, God will afflict those who afflict you. He is a righteous God and will give to everyone what they have done. Our Bible verse says, “Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you” (2Thesselonians 1:6). This means that, God is aware of your ordeals. He is aware of the afflictions and troubles that wicked people have put you through. All the ill treatments they meted to you the LORD is aware of them. They will certainly not escape His judgment. My dear, don’t be afraid, the LORD will vindicate, protect and preserve you. He will shame the ‘enemy’ and feed them with their own flesh and blood. Certainly, as God lives, your oppressors will be turned to the oppressed. Be wise!

Prayer : Most High God! I thank You for your words today. Listen to my cry for mercy and turn my troubles to a testimony, in Jesus’ name, amen.
