Verse Of The Day : Every prudent man acts with knowledge. Proverbs 13:16

LISTEN : “Fix it now before it graduates to a crisis. Act fast or be doomed forever.” Says a man to his carefree friend. This statement is true for everyone who wants to escape doom. Yes, things get really bad because unexpected and minor problems are often neglected. Surely, in a system, no problem is minor. A neglected ‘minor problem’ puts a major problem on the whole, because one thing will lead to another. My dear, when something seems wrong, even a little bit of wrong, that is the time to check into it. It is a smart move to take each glitch seriously, and stop and evaluate before things get really bad. Be careful, because what you undermine or ignore can start a process for your calamity. Couple of months ago. I told the story of a man who was embarking on a trip. His friend visited and saw him dressing up for his journey. And his friend asked, “My dear, I hope you are not travelling by your car?” “My car of course! He replied.” His friend asked again, “Have you fixed the problem with the break system? ” And he replied, “It is a minor problem, I will be fine.” He zoomed off and bid farewell to his friend and family. Few hours later, his wife received a phone call from the police, that her husband was involved in a ghastly auto crash and died on the spot. Sadly, a lot of people are like this man in our story. They like to wait until things get really bad. They have no sense of urgency to issues of life because they lack knowledge. People perish for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). This is why the Bible says, “Every prudent man acts with knowledge.” (Proverbs 13:16). A person with good sense will always think carefully and act wisely. For he knows the right thing to do, and the right time to do it (1 Chronicles 12:32). Beloved, learn to act with knowledge. So, fix what you must fix in your life now before it becomes a crisis. Be wise!

Bible Verse : Into your hand I commit my spirit: you have redeemed me, O LORD God of truth. Psalms 31:5

LISTEN : God can be trusted. He never loses what is committed to His hands. He protects and redeems anyone who runs to Him for safety. My dear, are you tired of life because life seems to be unfair to you? Not to worry! Run to God and commit yourself to Him. Stop being afraid and lean on God. When the going gets tough and you don’t know what else to do, place your faith in God. Look to Him for provision, protection and intervention. Talk to Him about what you’re going through. Tell Him your fears and worries because He cares for you (1Peter 5:7). God is forever faithful and will not fail you. He is always there to help when trouble hits you. Beloved, God is faithfully waiting for you to call to Him. Why not call to Him today and be delivered? When you’re stretched and stressed out by troubles, spread yourself in God’s word. Breath the fresh air of His presence. Dig deep into His words and you’ll find rest for your soul. Friend, the words of God will point you to His faithfulness. Truly, when you understand the words of God you will acknowledge and appreciate His faithfulness. Beloved, cheer up! God is forever faithful to those who put their trust in Him. So, commit yourself to Him and put your trust in Him and you will not be put to shame. Remember, God can be trusted. Be wise!

Prayer : Almighty God, I surrender my life to you. Keep my heart in perfect peace, in Jesus’ name, amen.
