Author : Bishop Julius Okarike

Verse Of The Day : Sing to the LORD! Praise the LORD! For he rescues the oppressed from the clutches of evildoers. Jeremiah 20:13

LISTEN : My dear, learn to make use of praise often. Don’t allow any situation to shut you up; instead, always give praise to God no matter what. For if it is difficult for you to offer praise to God, it will be difficult for God to release His favour to you. Praise opens the heavens to you; for if you can praise you can connect to God and His mercy. A Praiser don’t beg for the presence of God, because he or she is already soaked in His presence through praise. What is praise? To praise is to express thanks to or love and respect for God. It means to worship and value God. God should be praised. The Bible says, But you are holy, O you that inhabit the praises of Israel.” (Psalms 22:3). God is holy and should receive our praises, for praise glorifies Him. The Bible says, “Whoso offers praise glorifies me: and to him that orders his conversation aright will I show the salvation of God.” (Psalms 50:23). Beloved, when you praise you glorify God, and when you glorify God you attract His love and receive access to divine revelations. Besides, Praise creates energy. So, employ it often. When you are happy, praise God. When you are heartbroken, praise God. When your situation seems hopeless, praise God. In all circumstances, praise God. For if you can praise God no matter the situation, He can show up for you in all situations. Be wise!

EVENING

TOPIC : PURSUE YOUR PURPOSE AT THE RIGHT TIME

Bible Verse : To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. Ecclesiastics 3:1

LISTEN : Time waits for no nobody. So, learn to do the right thing at the right time. Pursue your God-given purpose when you still have the time. My dear, life is too short and will be meaningless without purpose. Our purpose in life is the very meaning of our existence, and without understanding of this fact, we will suffer as a result of our own ignorance. We cannot make the most of our lives if our purposes of existence are not known. We will be tempted to believe and conclude that our lives do not matter, and we cannot impact our generation. From our Bible text above, we have many insights into the purpose of man on Earth and how to live a meaningful life by making the most of our time. It is imperative to know that time is important to every purpose in life. Hence, when time is undermined purpose is equally undermined. Beloved, pursue your purpose when you still have the time. Be wise!

Prayer : Dear Lord, help me to pursue your purpose for my life when there is still time, in Jesus’ name, amen!
