Verse Of The Day : Samson said, “Let me die with the Philistines!” He pushed hard and the temple collapsed on the rulers and all the people in it… Judges 16:30
LISTEN : Anointing without caution equals confusion and destruction. This is what Samson would tell you. Anointing cannot be sustained where caution is thrown to the wind. Samson the son of Manoah was greatly anointed by God. He was recorded as the strongest man in the Bible. He was full of strength, and dreaded by enemies of Israel. In one occasion he killed the lion that came after him (Judges 14:5-6). In another occasion he killed a thousand Philistines with the jawbone of a donkey (Judges 15:14-16). The enemies of Israel were practically afraid of him. As a matter of fact, he was ‘a thorn in their flesh.’ Sadly, he ended miserably because he chooses to disobey God in favour of sin. He practically sold himself to the Philistines – the enemies of Israel, because he loves sin. He lusted after Delilah, and therefore, lost his good sense of reasoning, his eyes, and ultimately his life. Delilah today is anything, anyone or lifestyle that wants to bury your star and frustrate your destiny. My dear, he whom the LORD anoints should know that God seeks blessings for humanity and glory to His own name. No person of great anointing follows ‘Delilah’ and remains the same. To walk with ‘Delilah’, be prepared to lose your vision and life. My dear, what is life without vision? The Bible says, “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keeps the law, happy is he.“ (Proverbs 29:18). Samson lost God’s purpose for his life, and therefore, lost his sight and his life. Where sense of purpose is lost direction is compromised. Samson lost God’s purpose for his life and therefore was deceived and destroyed. His life became pitiable and a laughing stock that he had to practically beg God for power to perish with the Philistines. So sad! How the mighty has fallen. Sadly, lots of people are still travelling on the same road today. (Proverbs 14:12). My dear, retrace your steps. If Samson couldn’t survive the trickery of Delilah, you can’t either. Be wise!

TOPIC : JESUS CHRIST THE UNCOMMON BREAD
Saturday, March 7, 2020
Bible Verse : I am the bread of life. Your ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died. This is the bread that has come down from heaven, so that a person may eat from it and not die. John 6:48-50
LISTEN : Jesus Christ is the uncommon bread that cannot be found anywhere else except in God’s supermarket. Those who eat it never hunger again. My dear, nothing can truly satisfy in this life, until you have eaten the bread that comes from heaven. This food that comes from heaven is supernatural and life-giving. And he who tastes of it will never die. My dear, Jesus Christ is that great meal. He is the bread that comes from heaven. His body like bread, was broken for us on calvary cross, and his blood was shed for the forgiveness of our sins. And if you have not tasted Him, you will continue to search endlessly for satisfaction. So, come to Jesus Christ today, and do not labour just for the food that will perish, rather labour for the bread of life which endures unto everlasting life; and only Jesus Christ the Son of God can give it to you (John 6:27). My dear, focus your attention more on eternity than the temporal world. Remember that this world will pass away and everything in it. Only those who live for God will overcome. (Matthew 24:13). Beloved, real life is only in Christ Jesus. He is the bread of life, whose strength and efficacy leads to eternal life. So, remember that Jesus Christ is the meal from heaven; come, eat and live forever. Be wise!
Payer : Eternal Father, feed me with the bread of life until I hunger no more, amen!
