Verse Of The Day : Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15
LISTEN : An in-depth study of the Bible will open your eyes to the will of God. For it’s not possible to spend quality time with God and not discover His will. Unfortunately, personal bible study has been undermined today. A lot of people who claim to serve God are not ready to spend quality time in His word. They neglect to dig deep into the word of God; as a result, they have just a shallow knowledge and understanding about God. Truly, a shallow study of God’s Word will produce a shallow understanding of God’s will. But a purposeful and thorough study of His word will give directions to the soul; enlightens the eyes and saves the wise from errors and the deceitfulness of sin. (Psalms 119:105). Surely, your eyes will be opened when you study and gain deeper knowledge and understanding of the word of God. When you spend quality time in the Word, you will grow wiser to handle the Word of truth, and be saved from embracing Satan and his lies. (John 8:32). Beloved, the deeper you grow in the knowledge of God and His words, the stronger you get spiritually. So, dig deeper into the word of God to escape ignorance, spiritual dryness and destruction. If you must grow and mature spiritually to defend the gospel of Christ, you must study the word of God deeply. My dear, dig deep into the word of God to be able to teach others the true message accurately. Henceforth, study to know and be prepared to tell the world about Jesus Christ, and guide them to make their own decisions about eternal destiny. Be wise!

TOPIC : BELIEVE AND CONTINUE IN CHRIST
Thursday, October 17, 2019
Bible Verse : So Jesus told those Jews who had believed in him, “If you continue in my word, you are really my disciples.” John 8:31
LISTEN : He who believes in Christ should continue in him too; and he who continues in him should serve him faithfully. No one has the right to serve or worship God anyhow he or she wants it. God makes the rules. Therefore, we can’t serve Him on our own terms but on His. Those who truly believe in Christ must continue to obey Him no matter what. No doubt, anyone can claim to follow Jesus Christ, but not all are truly serving His purpose. Anyone can sing His praise, but not everyone can stick with Him at all times. Anyone can hear His words, but not everyone can obey Him. But His true disciples will truly follow His will. A disciple is one who accepts and assists in spreading the doctrines of another: one who follows the way of another. True disciples of Jesus Christ are known for their consistency in following Him and obeying His words. When God’s word is rejected or taken lightly, our claim to a relationship with Him is fake. No one is a true disciple of Christ who does not continue in His word – the word of life. My dear, there is no ‘part-time followership’ in the Lord’s service. Total commitment is the standard for a relationship with God. It’s either you are with Him, or with the devil; or for Him, or for the devil. So, be serious in your service to God. Be wise!
Prayer : Everlasting Father, help me to hear and obey your words always, in Jesus’ name, amen!
