Verse Of The Day : I am a friend of all those who fear you, of those who observe your precepts. Psalms 119:63

LISTEN : Beware of ungodly friendship. Your future will be ruin by ungodly friendship. Friendship has a way of affecting our lives positively or negatively. (Ecclesiastics 4:9-12; 1 Corinthians 15:33-34). Many people are made by friendship (association), while many others are marred by it. Right association will produce a better life; but wrong association will ruin it instead. However, there is no better life without the fear of God. And the fear of God is the true purpose of human existence. To be a God-fearing person, you should make friends with those who fear God. David said, “I am a friend of all those who fear you, of those who observe your precepts.” (Psalms 119:63). A man was asked by his friend thus, “Why do you choose me as a friend?” The man replied, “I choose you as my friend because you are God-fearing. My association with you has transformed me immensely. I never believed in God, but now I do, because you have opened my eyes to the truth. Friend, I do not regret knowing you.” He said with a smile. Beloved, this is what true friendship truly is. True friendship will not lead you away from God, but to Him. It enables you to grow in love, self-control, faith and obedience to God. Beloved, who are your friends? What are your reasons for choosing them? Think and regularly evaluate your association with others. And any association that encourages you to disobey and undermine God, avoid it. Remember, true friendship will lead you to God and not lead you away from Him. So, beware of ungodly friendship. wise!

EVENING

TOPIC : HAVE YOU FELLOWSHIPPED WITH GOD TODAY?

Sunday, December 29, 2019

Bible Verse : And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed. Mark 1:35

LISTEN : Do you have time to fellowship with the Spirit of God? Do you spend time with God? A God fearing person will always hunger and thirst after God. God is always at the center of everything he or she does. Time with God is precious to Him and cannot be lost or wasted. God rewards our value for Him. Therefore, spending time with God should be the yearning of everyone of us. Sadly, many spend their lives daily without having quality time with God. They do not have time to commune with Him in prayer, personal bible study, meditation, etc. They have no regard for the will of God. They have little or no time for Him. They seem to have forgotten that we are humans? And that we are created by God to serve His purposes? Beloved, do you know that failing to spend time with God will amount to failing to fulfill your God-given purpose? No matter how busy you are, always have time for God. Jesus Christ, while He walked the earth, worked round the clock (Acts 10:38), yet, had quality time with God in prayers. (Mark 1:35). Beloved, never neglect to have time with God no matter what. Time with God will shape your future, correct your behaviour, direct your steps, give you access to God, give your life a meaning and save your soul from eternal destruction. Be wise!

Prayer : Dear Lord, cause me to always fellowship with you as long as I live, amen!
