Verse Of The Day: Although a righteous person may fall seven times, he gets up again, but the wicked will be brought down by calamity. Proverbs 24 : 16

LISTEN: The journey of life is not an easy one, because life is full of ‘ups and downs.'(
a succession of both good and bad experiences). Joy is often interrupted by sorrow; health by sicknesses and diseases, peace by conflict, crisis and war; marriage by divorce or loss of a spouse, wealth by poverty and hardship; security by insecurity, ease and wellness by pain; life by death, strength by weakness, etc. When these things happens, we tend to conclude that we have come to the end of the road in our lives. Is it really true that we have come to the end of road? Of course not! The Bible says, “For his anger endures but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” (Psalms 30 : 5). Beloved, your weeping (bad experiences) is not a mark of your end, but a season in your life. You are not alone in this, because everyone has his or her own ‘fair share’ of the crisis of life. Whatever that broke your heart must not be allowed to break your focus; because a broken focus will put you off the track of progress.

Beloved, a time of trouble is not time to be discouraged, heartbroken, depressed, hopeless or want to give up on life, but a time to build up your faith in Christ and look up to Him. Keep going no matter what. The Bible says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.” (Romans 10 : 11). If you are currently experiencing some sad moments in your life be strong and courageous. It is not your destination, but a season in your life. What you need now is faith, very soon you will celebrate. Faith in God is important because it gives you a relationship with Him. Having a relationship with God through His Son Jesus Christ will give you the righteousness of God that comes by faith. And this righteousness will be your source of strength in times of trouble. Beloved, if you maintain a relationship with God, it does not matter what you are going through, you will not sink. The Bible says, ” Although a righteous person may fall seven times, he gets up again, but the wicked will be brought down by calamity.” (Proverbs 24 : 16). Oh! Woe to the wicked, because it shall be ill with them. Their end is calamity without remedies. Because they lack the fear of God and faith in Him, they cannot overcome what the righteous are enabled to overcome. Beloved, you have a choice today to choose Jesus Christ as your Saviour or not. Do it before it is too late. God bless you.
