Author : Bishop Julius Okarike

Verse Of The Day : And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. Matthew 27:52-53

LISTEN : Resurrection is the proof of the power of Jesus Christ over the power of death and the grave (1 Conrinthians 15:55-57). By His death, He destroyed the power of Satan. The power of God is bigger than the power of the grave. His Spirit quickens dead bones and bodies and bring them back to life. Nothing can ever hold back anyone who God has set free. Surely, the grave cannot continue to hold back anyone that heaven has pronounced ‘alive.’ Beloved, we are alive with Christ Jesus. His resurrection is the reason for our own expected resurrection. Because Christ is risen, and we are risen together with Him in righteousness. Therefore, the power of sin and death cannot stop our escape from destruction. The grave will open when the power of resurrection is at work in us. Every satanic foundation will shake and crumble when heaven responds to the questions of the earth. When Jesus Christ finally died on the cross, remarkable things happened. The veil of the temple was rent in two from top to bottom; the earth quakes, and the rocks rent. The graves of the saints were opened, and they resurrected after the resurrection of Christ and showed themselves to many in the city of Jerusalem. My dear, Christ is risen and ever alive because nothing is impossible to God. And we have same hope of resurrection if we walk with God from start to finish. So, don’t throw away your faith in Christ and you will share in the resurrection of the saints. Be wise!

TOPIC : CHRIST MAKES US RIGHTEOUS

Sunday, April 21, 2019

Bible Verse : For the Lord is upright; he is a lover of righteousness: the upright will see his face. Psalms 11:7

LISTEN : The death of Jesus Christ makes us righteous to God. By His death, we are made to look more like Himself. The LORD our God is righteous in Himself, and in all His ways and works. His righteousness is demonstrated both in visiting and punishing the wicked, and in maintaining the righteous cause of His people. My dear, righteousness is agreeable to the nature of God: He loves to exercise righteousness in the earth, to administer it to, and among men; this He delights to do. Beloved, God has given us His righteousness through Christ Jesus. We became righteous through the death of Jesus Christ on the cross. God gave us righteousness as a gift through His Son Jesus Christ (Romans 5:17). Through Christ, God is well pleased with us as we walk in obedience to Him. By Him we shall see His favour, goodness, protection, etc. Beloved, God is righteous and loves righteousness. So, let us learn to live in line with His will and be blessed. Be wise!

Prayer : Blessed Father, I thank you for making me righteous and alive through Christ Jesus, amen.
