Verse Of The Day : I choose the path of faithfulness; I am committed to your regulations. Psalms 119:30
LISTEN: We make different choices on daily basis by our actions or inactions. People are built or destroyed by their actions. But we are guaranteed divine security and assistance when we chose the path of faithfulness and purity. My dear, choice affects results. The path you choose for yourself will determine the future you will create (Matthew 7:13-14). Therefore, you should be very careful when making decisions. Think and pray before you do. Refuse to act rashly. Rash decision often ends as a nightmare and tragedy. Sadly, lots of people tend to choose the wrong path because they find it easy to go with. They prefer the path of least resistance to the path of hard work and dedication. They find pleasure in unfaithfulness than faithfulness. They make choices without considering the corresponding consequences. Some time ago, I told a story about an Evangelist who visited the prison in a certain place. And in the male ward, he spotted a young man who was very sad and disturbed. He asked, “Young man, what is the problem with you? Do you think you cannot come out of this prison alive? ” After few minutes of silence, the young man replied tearfully, “Noooo! The jail term is not my problem. Just that I am ashamed of myself because I have made the wrong choice. When I was growing up as a teenager, I thought disobedience to rules and regulations was the best for me. I never knew it was a wrong choice. If I had listened to my parents I would not be here today. I am here because I chose unfaithfulness over faithfulness.” My dear, like this young man, this is how we determine our destinies by our own choices. But David said, “I choose the path of faithfulness; I am committed to your regulations.” (Psalms 119:30). Like David, let us choose the path of faithfulness (righteousness) and avoid the consequences of a wrong choice. Be wise!

TOPIC : JUST KEEP PRAYING

Bible Verse : Continue steadfastly in prayer, watching therein with thanksgiving. Colossians 4:2
LISTEN : My dear, just keep praying. Earnest prayer brings answers to those who ask of God. Beloved, are you troubled? Pray. Are you sick and weak, and has done all you know but nothing seems to change? Pray! Are you experiencing crisis in your life right now? Pray. (James 5:13,15). Is your life fallen apart? Pray. Prayer gives peace to a troubled heart. It leaves worries in the hands of a loving and caring God. He who prays in faith cannot be addicted to worry. (Philippians 4:6,7). In prayer, problems are surrendered to God in anticipation of a positive outcome. When you pray knowing that God has heard you, you cannot leave in fear of your circumstances anymore. So, to experience the joy and benefits of prayer you should pray with thanksgiving. You should thank God in advance believing that He has heard you. Celebrate His promises and accept them as yours. Beloved, without faith it is difficult to pray in times of troubles, and more difficult to pray with thanksgiving. People see prayer as a slow process to receiving answers to their problems. But those who understand the importance of prayer cannot neglect to pray, because they know that when God answers prayer, He gives a lasting solution. My dear, keep praying and pray with thanksgiving. Never wait to see results before you thank God, instead, thank Him to see results. Be wise!
Prayer : Dear Lord, I thank you for your word. Pour in me the heart of prayer now and forever, amen!
