Verse Of The Day : You are my hiding place; you shall preserve me from trouble; you shall compass me about with songs of deliverance. Psalms 32:7
LISTEN : David called God a hiding place in times of troubles. Truly, He is a hiding place for those who believe in Him. Beloved, I do not know what God is to you. For me, He is a hiding place in times of troubles. My dear, is God your hiding place? If He is, you will put your trust in Him. In our verse of the day David says, “You are my hiding place; you shall preserve me from trouble; you shall compass me about with songs of deliverance.” (Psalms 32:7). What does that mean? It means that you are secured when you run to God for protection. You will receive uncommon strength to fight and overcome your fears. With God you can triumph over your ‘enemies’ and still stay strong after the battle. Surely, when troubles swoop in to destroy you, God will swoop in to deliver you. The Lord’s deliverance comes to put a song in your mouth. When you have faith in God, He will decorate you with songs of deliverance. This represents your joy in victory. Yes, you cannot be defeated by enemies if you have surrendered yourself to God. God will compass you about with songs of victory when you hide yourself in Him; for He who makes God his hiding place is firmly hidden in Him. Beloved, make God your hiding place and He will put a new song in your mouth. Be wise!

TOPIC : THINK ABOUT HEAVEN
Verse Of The Day : Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth. Colossians 3:2
LISTEN : Friend, do you think about God? Do you think about life after death? Eternity with God should be our goal. Our thoughts should be directed towards God. My dear, you are what you think, hence, you must guard your thoughts at all times. This is because, what you think about, to a great extent determines what you do or become. Thoughts trigger actions, and your actions will determine your success or failure in life. It will equally determine where you will spend eternity – heaven or hell. Good thoughts when sustained will produce good actions, and bad thoughts when sustained will produce negative actions. You cannot be different from what you think. (Proverbs 23:7a). That is why it is vital to direct your thoughts in line with the will of God. In our Bible verse , we are urged to think about things that are above and not about things that are on the earth. We should constantly desire the blessings that God has prepared for us in heaven. (1 Corinthians 2:9,10). We should bother ourselves with the things of heaven and abstain from the evil in the world. Besides, our minds should be consumed with thoughts of “a life with God after our earthly life.” We should always think about our eternal home that is free from crisis, heartbreak, sicknesses and diseases, death and sorrow, etc. Friend, let us focus our minds on life after death, for our journey on earth will soon be over. Be wise!
1. Thank God for today and bless Him for the life of others.
2. Ask Him to forgive your sin and restore your fellowship with Him.
3. Ask God to give you a heart for Him and the zeal to prepare for eternity.
4. Pray against evil altars and manipulations against your life. Then, thank God for answering your prayer.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION May God bless you. May the Lord give you a heart for Him and enable you to prepare for eternity as long as you live, in Jesus’ name, amen.
