Verse Of The Day : Although a righteous person may fall seven times, he gets up again, but the wicked will be brought down by calamity. Proverbs 24:16 (NET)
LISTEN : When circumstance knocks you down, determine not to stay down. In life, anyone can fall, but not everyone can be down and out. A fall in this context talks about trials, troubles, problems, crisis, misery and the like. A fall is just a season of life and not the destination of the righteous. God is with the righteous. He is always with those who love Him (Isaiah 43:1-2) His presence is with those who are bought by the blood of Jesus Christ through faith. When they fall, they shall rise again. They shall rise again because the Almighty hand of God will help them up. They are too grounded in faith to remain down after a fall. They are not ignorant of the words of God (John 8:32). Therefore, it is impossible for them to fall cheaply to the lies of the enemy. When the devil makes them think they can’t come out of their troubles, the word of God gives them assurance of divine intervention. My dear, it’s not possible for you to fall and not rise again if you’re faithfully walking with God. Beloved, I see you rising from your ‘fall.’ You’re rising from your financial crisis, academic and career failure, family conflict, marital and relationships crisis, in Jesus’ name. My dear, determine to rise anytime you fall. No one will remember how many times you fell if you’re not down and out after the fall. Yes, it’s not about how many times you fall, but how many times you get up and keep going. So, no matter how heavy the fall, just get up and keep going. Be wise!

TOPIC : WE LIVE AND DIE BY OUR WORDS
Wednesday, December 4, 2019
Bible Verse : Whoso keeps his mouth and his tongue keeps his soul from troubles. Proverbs 21:23
LISTEN: If you follow God’s word you can’t be destroyed by your own words. Watch your tongue, for we live and die by our words. My dear, watch your tongue before it puts you in trouble. Your tongue can protect or destroy you: it can cause death and also produce life. God designed our tongue to be a life-giving organ, and not a life-destroying instrument. Therefore, until you guard your tongue and put it to a wise use you’ll expose yourself to danger and disaster. Beloved, be wise! Know when to talk and when to be silent. Know what to talk and what not to talk. Besides, learn to live by self-control, and not by your impulses. Don’t be control by your feelings but by proven principles from the word of God. Say the right thing, and right things will happen to you. (Mathew 12:37). Avoid careless talks, because it will result in a careless end. Keep your tongue from evil and you’ll live; open it wide and you’ll endanger your life. Our verse of the day says, “Whoso keeps his mouth and his tongue keeps his soul from troubles.” (Proverbs 21:23). Beloved, it pays to bridle one’s tongue. Sadly, too many people talk carelessly to their own destruction. They say things they can’t defend ; things that are too high for them. They do not know when to talk and when to keep mute. My dear, be in control of your tongue. For if you can’t manage your words you can’t manage your life. Keep your mouth and you will live; let it loose and you will be doomed (Proverbs 18:21). Be wise!
Prayer : Blessed Father, I thank you for your love to me. Help me to guard my tongue and save my life, in Jesus’ name, amen.
