Verse Of The Day : One thing I have asked of the LORD, that I will seek after, that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to see the LORD’s beauty, and to inquire in his temple. Psalms 27:4

LISTEN : Seeking after God is a noble decision and good desire. It’s an expression of true wisdom. To seek after God is the greatest pursuit of the wise. Real wisdom is to know God. This we ought to make our top priority. My dear, what is your top priority? Is it to please, honour, worship and glorify God with your life? Or to do otherwise? The truth is, whatever you have in life, minus God, equal to nothing. Yes! When you neglect God in your life, you’ve rejected your own source; and he who rejects his source will forfeit his blessing. This is a mystery that can only be understood by divine wisdom. When you pursue the so-called good things of life at the expense of God, you’ll lose all at your own expense. For you’ve gained nothing when you reject God. My dear, there’s no top priority than the desire to please God. Every other thing should queue behind it. You’re sure to succeed when God is your top priority. (Matthew 6:33). Like David in our verse of the day, the desire to please God should be paramount in our lives. David said, “One thing I have asked of the LORD, that I will seek after, that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to see the LORD’s beauty, and to inquire in his temple.” (Psalms 27:4). Beloved, learn to seek after God. Let the desire to serve and worship Him consume your heart, and He will grant you the desires of your heart. Remember, seeking after God is a noble decision and good desire. Be wise!

Bible Verse : Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him. Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen. Psalms 37:7

LISTEN: Trust in God and wait for His mercy. My dear, be patient with God. Calm down and wait patiently for Him. Have faith in Him and you won’t be put to shame. He will grant you your heart desires. Those who wait for Him can’t be disappointed. God is merciful and kind to His people. No matter what happens, it shall be well with those who trust and wait for God (Isaiah 3:10). My dear, don’t worry about the “prosperity” of the wicked, instead, strive to live in line with the will of God; certainly you’ll not regret it. Never be in a hurry for prosperity, rather, be diligent and trust the LORD. Always lean on God even when it seems like nothing is working for you. People may give up on you or reject you, yet, don’t give up on God. Besides, don’t envy the wicked who seems to “prosper” in what he does, for he won’t stand when God visits. Wait for the blessings of the LORD, though it may delay, but it will surely come, and it will come with no sorrow (Proverbs 10:22). Beloved, no matter what, don’t rush to where God does not lead you to, because you will surely rush out in frustration and heartbreak. So, remember to trust God and wait for His mercy, Be wise!

Prayer : Dear Lord, I thank you for you are faithful. Help me to put my faith in you always, amen.
