Verse Of The Day : Neither murmur all of you, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer. 1 Corinthians 10:10
LISTEN : To murmur is to express grief, pain, or discontent: it is to say something that expresses annoyance or unhappiness. Many are too quick to blame God for their misfortune and misery. They murmur over what they believe is less than what they expected. They see God as being responsible for what they are unable to achieve. They see Him as not doing enough to better their lives. Beloved, God is good, and the only way to fully enjoy His goodness is to fully accept what He has already given to us. When we despise what God has already given to us, we will lose what He intends to give to us. Those who cannot appreciate what God has given to them will forfeit what is already given. Murmuring against God is satanic. It is an expression of lack of faith in God. It is a way of telling God that you do not trust Him and His promises. God brought the children of Israel out of slavery in the land of Egypt, but rather than have faith in God when they were confronted with lack of water, hunger and starvation, they (Israelites) murmured against God and His servants, Moses and Aaron; and wished they (the Israelites) had died in the land of Egypt instead of bringing them to die in the wilderness. (Exodus 16:2-3 ; Exodus 17:2). Besides, when some of the spies sent to explore the land of Canaan returned with evil report of the land, the congregation wept all night and doubted God’s ability to bring them to the land of promise (Canaan). God was angry with the Israelites, and the destroying angel destroyed the people involved (Numbers 14:35-37). Beloved, we are warned not to follow there paths (1 Corinthians 10:10). So, be wise!

Bible Verse : I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. John 15:5
LISTEN: We belong to God and therefore should serve His purpose (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We are created for His own glory, and when this purpose is not achieved we have failed Him. God wants us to be fruitful, that is, He wants us to produce good results and become abundantly productive. God wants us to be productive for His kingdom. He wants us to impact lives around the world and turn them over to Him. Beloved, God’s desire for us is to faithfully serve Him by spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ around the world, and consistently live in line with His will. However, we cannot do His will or do anything of importance until we have chosen to connect and commit ourselves to Him. Our Bible verse says, “I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5). Beloved, we draw our strength from God. Hence, fruitfulness in the Christian faith will be practically impossible when the believer is disconnected from Christ the source of supernatural strength and life. Everything we do as Christians should revolve around Christ Jesus. My dear, are you faithful to Jesus Christ? Are you really doing what God expects of you? Are you truly depending on Him for strength and direction? If not, please retrace your steps today and remember that without God we can do nothing. So, be wise!
1. Pray and bless God for His love and protection.
2. Ask God for forgiveness and mercy.
3. Pray God to give you the heart to know that you are nothing without Him.
4. Pray and destroy all satanic plans against you and your family.
5. Ask God for a good night rest.
May the Lord bless you. May you be ever connected to the Spirit of God; and may this night brings you joy, peace and rest, in Jesus’ name, amen.
