Verse Of The Day : Jesus wept. John 11:35
LISTEN : Our message today is from the shortest verse of the Bible (John 11:35), “Jesus Wept.” Jesus wept because He feels the pain of the family of his late friend Lazarus, and humanity at large. My dear, Jesus feels your pain. He knows when your heart is broken. We tend to weep when we are hurt, troubled or bereaved. We cry when our hearts are broken. Crying is not a sign of weakness, but an expression of emotion. When Jesus Christ wept, it was to express the pain He felt about death. Death was never God’s plan for humanity, Satan sowed it into the world through sin. He introduced sin to make life miserable for humanity. Jesus Christ wept in Bethany at the tomb of His late friend Lazarus, because He was deeply touched when He saw the grip of death on him (Lazarus) and the entire human race. His heart was broken because of His love for humanity. Therefore, He tamed death and with a loud voice ordered His friend Lazarus who was dead for four days to come out of the tomb. (John 11:43-44). Beloved, is your heart broken by circumstances of life? Remember that Jesus Christ wept for you to rejoice. So, follow Him no matter the circumstance and your weeping will be turned to laughter. Be wise!

TOPIC : GOD’S UNCOMMON GREATNESS
Monday, August 27, 2018
Bible Verse : Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable. Psalms 145:3
LISTEN: The glory of God is unmatchable. His greatness has no compare. God created the world by His word, wisdom and power. (Proverbs 3:19 ; Jeremiah 10:12). Hence, He is to be praised with all we have, and with utmost capacities. Beloved, who else is to be praised if not God? His greatness has no end. His greatness is unsearchable; that is, the greatness of His nature, and the perfections of it; these are past finding out; and so are His ways and works, and the riches of His grace. Our God is great and worthy to be the object of our praise, day and night (Psalms 145:1-3). Those who know God’s greatness should meditate upon it and proclaim it to others. The whole earth is full of God’s greatness and goodness towards humanity. Not only is God great, but He is full of goodness, showing covenant faithfulness to His people and gracious love to people everywhere. Therefore, those who have tasted His love should show their gratitude by praising Him and telling others of His mighty works. In this way, they will help spread His rule to the lives of others. Beloved, let us bring God unending praise for all his goodness and greatness. Remember, when we deny God His praise, He will surely deny us His blessings. Be wise!
1. Pray and bless God for His mercies, direction and protection.
2. Confess your sin to God and ask for forgiveness and mercy.
3. Ask God for grace to acknowledge His greatness and praise Him for who He is.
4. Pray and destroy all satanic plans against your life.
May God open your eyes to His greatness. I prophesy to you, may God bless you with greatness and glory as long as you live, in Jesus’ name, amen.
