Verse Of The Day: Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God. Psalms 92:13
LISTEN: God never fails to look after His people even when they do not seem to know that He takes care of them. We, children of God fails to realise that God is always mindful of us. He is near to the dedicated, He loves those who has sold themselves completely to His service and purposes. No matter what happens, God knows those who truly belong to Him. Not everyone really belongs to God. Those who belongs to Him are known by their value and reverence for Him, dedication, honour, love, etc.
Such people does not esteem God lightly. They value Him above all else. (See Job 23 : 12). God is their song and dwelling place, therefore, He will not fail to bless them. Our verse of the day says, ” Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.” (Psalms 92:13). What does that mean? It means that being a part of Christ’s body, the church, releases upon us the blessings of God. Those who have made it their habits to be committed to God will flourish in the house of God. This is why Jesus Christ urged His disciples to abide in Him and He in them so that they can flourish (John 15 : 4 – 7).
Beloved, are you planted in the house of God? Are you dedicated to the assignments of His kingdom? Are you really committed to doing His will? Have you decided for Him come rain come shine? Are you deeply rooted in the body of Christ (the church)? Or you are just a christian who does not care about dedication and sincere commitment to God? Beloved, If you are not devoted and committed to God, begin to do that today. Remember, God is not responsible for your welfare, until you are ready to follow His will for your life. When you follow His will, He will certainly bless you, because His blessing makes rich and adds no sorrow (Proverbs 10 : 22).
