Verse Of The Day : God heard their groaning, God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob… Exodus 2:24
LISTEN : Everything was fine with the Israelites in Egypt until Joseph and the Pharaoh that knows him died. Shortly after that, their lives turned into a nightmare and they all became slaves to the Egyptians, and the favour and happiness they once enjoyed in the days of Joseph suddenly ended. Their life was spent in sorrow and agony. They cried and groaned day and night because of their bondage in the land of Egypt. The Bible says, “And it came to pass in process of time, that the king of Egypt died: and the children of Israel sighed by reason of the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up unto God by reason of the bondage.” (Exodus 2:23). And because God is faithful and merciful, He heard them. He remembered His covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The Bible says, “God heard their groaning, God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob, God saw the Israelites, and God understood….” (Exodus 2:24-25). Beloved, when we are in trouble, we often wonder if God knows or cares about how we feel. We wonder if God hears our prayers and groaning at all. The Israelites felt that way too, and God eventually delivered them. So, God knows your groaning and He can deliver you from your troubles. When you groan because of troubles, pains and oppression, just travail in prayer and you will prevail over your miseries. Beloved, it is impossible to travail in prayer of faith and not prevail over enemies’ oppression. So, keep talking to God, He already heard your groaning and will surely deliver you. Be wise!

TOPIC : ALWAYS HOPE FOR THE BEST
Thursday, June 6, 2019
Bible Verse : …weeping may be for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Psalms 30:5
LISTEN : No matter the circumstance, always hope for the best. Always put your trust in God and know that, He is as faithful as He was. God is too faithful to fail in fulfilling His words. No matter how ‘dark your days’ are, God will bring you to His glorious light and bless you beyond measure. So, have faith in God! My dear, God cannot deny you what your faith can obtain. No matter the circumstance, never forget that God is alive and willing to help you. No doubt, there is a time to weep and mourn, but there is equally a time to laugh and rejoice. So, if you are weeping and mourning right now, you will also smile and rejoice shortly both in this life and eternity (Mat 5:4). Beloved, sorrow and trouble are not end of the road for you; they are just circumstances of life. Certainly, they will give way to a new dawn. Therefore, be strong and courageous. Be wise!
Prayer : Everlasting Father, you are my hope. Therefore, help me to always trust in you, in Jesus’ name, amen!
