Verse Of The Day : In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me. Psalms 56 : 11

LISTEN : Fear by nature paralyses and weakens people. ( Psalms 31 : 13 ; Psalms 34 : 4). It practically leaves its victim incapable of making right decision and being courageous in the face of trouble. (1 Samuel 13 : 8 – 13). However, nothing can move anyone whose trust is in God. Faith in God will make him or her flexible to troubles of life. Truly, troubles can only “bend a person of faith temporarily, but cannot break” him or her. When you are flexible and open, then nothing hits you as hard ; nothing is such a “monster” or obstacle too strong to keep you from making progress, or becoming resilient after every battle of your life. With faith in God everything is doable and possible. Yes, it is impossible for you to sink when you are sailing in the boat of faith! In his time of trouble, the Psalmist affirmed his faith in God and said, ” In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.” (Psalms 56 : 11). No doubt, men can do their worst, but by faith, the best of God for your life can thwart and alter the worst of men.

Beloved, where do you put your trust in? Is it in man or God? Where you put your trust in will determine the confidence of your heart. If your trust is in God your courage will grow and overcome every obstacle; but if your trust is in anything or anyone other than God, you will surely lose strength and courage when troubles hit you so hard. Friend, learn to put your trust in God no matter what. Do not allow people’s threats or circumstances around you to drown your faith, instead, let your faith continue to rise in God and you will overcome even the impossible. Be wise!
