Verse Of The Day : Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice. Philippians 4:4
LISTEN : Couple of months ago, I told a story about a christian woman who lost her four children in rapid succession to a strange disease. She was approached by a friend of the family, who, after reflecting on the weight of the tragedy on her, asked, “Friend, will you ever be happy again?” The woman replied, “I have every reason to be happy, because the death of my children is not the death of my God. I’ll always be happy because my God lives.” And because of her faith in God, God blessed her with other children. My dear, sometimes we experience similar things, but fail to exercise faith in God. In times of troubles many choose depression over happiness. They don’t see any reason to be happy again. Beloved, that shouldn’t be the case. Don’t allow depression to dictate the direction of your life or consume your destiny. Have faith in God and be happy all the time. Faith in God will fill your heart with joy even in time of trouble, and God will release the Spirit of joy, even the Holy Spirit into your heart. When you have faith in God, pain, disappointment, heartbreak, hardship, sorrow, tribulations, crisis, rejection, persecution, etc, can’t drown your joy (Habakkuk 3:17,18). Yes, your joy can’t cease if you continuously fix your eyes on God. As much as your eyes are on God, your heart can still find solace in Him. Henceforth, when sorrow strives to take the place of joy in your heart, resist it. Learn to rest in the power of God and never allow sorrow to ruin your life. No matter the circumstance always remember that, the joy of the Lord is your strength. So, be wise!

TOPIC : SING A GOOD SONG TO GOD
Monday, December 2, 2019
Bible Verse : I will sing to the LORD, because he has been good to me. Psalms 13:6
LISTEN : My dear, sing a good song to God. Bless God for His goodness to humanity. Let us rejoice in the Lord for He is good, and His mercy endures forever. (Psalms 136:1-25). Let us sing to God for He is good to all, both young and old. No one can deny His goodness to humanity. He created the sun to give heat and lighten the day; the moon to lighten the night. Rain to water our vegetations and to produce food enough to sustain us. He blesses us with many water sources (sea, rivers, streams, springs, swamps, lakes, lagoon, oceans, etc.); above all, He blesses us with life. Beloved, your life today is God’s goodness to you. Never take it for granted, or complain about what you think is not good enough in your life. Learn to acknowledge and appreciate the goodness of God no matter what. If you can praise God for what He has done for you no matter how little, He’ll do the unimaginable for you. David understands how reasonable it is to reciprocate God’s goodness, and he said, “I will sing to the LORD, because he has been good to me.” (Psalms 13:6). Beloved, is God not good to you? If really He is good to you, then, sing and honour Him for His goodness in your life today, and never stop to rejoice for what God has done for you. Sing a new song to the Lord and glorify Him for His favours. Be wise!
Prayer : Dear Lord, praise belongs to you. I will praise you as long as I live, in Jesus’ name, amen.
