Verse Of The Day : Because of my condition, even my friends and acquaintances keep their distance; my neighbors stand far away. Psalms 38:11

LISTEN : My dear, you cannot afford to be endlessly lonely. Yes, loneliness hurts and frustrates. It denies one the warmth fellowship of friends, acquaintances and relatives. What does it mean to be lonely? It means to be without company : to be cut off from others : to be sad from being alone. Loneliness produces sad feelings that comes from being apart from other people. It makes you feel like you have been abandoned to perish by yourself. My dear, for a moment, imagine yourself sick and in pain and no one visits to know how you are recuperating, or to assist you with a need, how would you feel? Or you have been overtaken by a tragedy, but rather than console you, everyone believes you are responsible for your misfortune. How would you feel? Sad and lonely, right? People go through loneliness in many ways and form. Loneliness could be felt in school where no one wants you close to them; in a society where one is ostracised for one reason or the other; in a marriage relationship where a spouse is mistreated and despised; when one is wrongly accused of evil and no one cares to verify the truth. The list goes on and on. This was the condition of David when he penned this Psalms. He said, “Because of my condition, even my friends and acquaintances keep their distance ; my neighbors stand far away.” (Psalms 38:11). Beloved, is your case like David’s? Not to worry! The Bible says, Even if my father and mother abandoned me, the LORD would take me in.” (Psalms 27:10). Do not allow the pain of loneliness to rob you of the opportunity to fellowship with the Holy Spirit. My dear, when circumstances of life keeps you lonely, seek the company of the Holy Spirit. Do not write off yourself no matter what. Remember, God cares about you and you cannot afford to be lonely. Be wise!

Friday, May 8, 2020

Bible Verse : But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Phil. 4:19

LISTEN: God will surely provides for you. Yes, He knows our needs and will not fail to provide for us. He is rich in glory, and the entire world belongs to Him. God is our Father and Provider. He created us and knows what we need, and will provide us with our needs. God will not leave us destitute, He will surely provides for us. If we can ask Him for it He will supply us with the necessary provisions. (Matthew 7:7,8). We must learn to trust Him with our daily needs and be confident that He will not forsake us. His supply includes all our needs, not just some needs. God is the source of all good gifts and provisions. (James 1:17). Whatever we have achieved, we achieved by grace, not by our strength. Beloved, think deep and you will realise that God’s hand is in everything. Do you know that even the smallest piece of bread you just ate could be traceable to God? So, stop worrying about what to eat, drink or wear, instead, trust God to honour the works of your hands. He will surely bless you with divine provisions. Remember, God will surely provide for you. Be wise!

Prayer : Dear LORD! You are my great provider. Therefore, I will always depend on your grace. Amen!
