Verse Of The Day: If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come. Job 14 : 14.

LISTEN: We live in a wicked world full of trouble; and when trouble comes tension heightens. For some people, fear would soar high above faith; while to others, faith will grow far bigger than fear. No doubt, the world is full of evil experiences and unending tragedies; hence we should put our hope in God. Beloved, do not forget that trouble is part of human existence, therefore, learning to deal with it through wisdom and acceptance will drain out its poison from our mind and heart anytime we are faced with undesirable situations. It is too sad that we are often too quick to give up hope when things are not right or going down well with us; we fail to realise that, to give up is to accept defeat. It is to formally admit before your enemy, or oppositions that your strength is small. (Proverbs 24 : 10). When you give up on life, you have wasted the times and efforts you have previously invested. No matter what, you need faith and courage to succeed and survive. So, do not allow anything or anyone to hinder your progress and rob you of your God-ordained success.

Beloved, never lose hope when troubled no matter what. Job is an ample example of patience in trial. He passed the test and was greatly rewarded and blessed thereafter for his faith in God. His courage and affirmation during his tempting period is still relevant and useful to anyone who will not bow to defeat. He said, ” If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.” (Job 14 : 14). Beloved, even in the midst of misery and tragedy, Job never gave up. His statement in our verse of the day could be interpreted to mean four things to us: 1). That the impatient and discouraged hardly outlast their challenges. 2). That we must not give up on life no matter what. 3). That we should be certain about our restoration and deliverance no matter the delay. (Job 19 : 25). 4). That you can refuse to die miserably no matter the pressure on your life. (Psalms 118 : 16 – 18). Beloved, like Job, be strong and wait patiently for God and He will help you.
