Verse Of The Day : Consider what I say, and the Lord will give you understanding in all things. 2 Timothy 2 :7
LISTEN : The Bible says, “Wisdom is of utmost importance, therefore get wisdom, and with all your effort work to acquire understanding.” (Proverbs 4:7 ISV). Understanding is the ability to know how something works or happens. It is to be sympathetically aware of other people’s feelings; to be tolerant and forgiving. It means to have insight or good judgement. Understanding makes life easy. Lack of understanding is a major problem facing humanity. People with lack of understanding do not see things from the right perspective. They easily have issues with relationship and marriage. Understanding is key to a stable marriage and relationship. The Bible says, “By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established.” (Proverbs 24:3). Beloved, understanding is as important as life itself. Many things will fail around you for lack of understanding. With understanding, you can stick with what you know to be true even when people misunderstood you. Truly, understanding grows when you stop seeking to be understood. In life, a lot of people will misunderstand you because they do not know what you know, or travelling the same road with you. Friend, make effort to get understanding. With understanding you can conquer challenges, sustain relationships, walk in faith and the fear of God, understand the purpose of life and faithfully serve God and humanity despite hardship and challenges. Be wise!

Bible Verse : And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, care you not that we perish? Mark 4:38
LISTEN: Beloved, are you heartbroken? Is your life threatened by certain issues of your life? Are you wondering if God really feels your pain, sorrow and afflictions at all? Do you think He has abandoned you to perish in your troubles? My dear, God knows about what is bothering you. Truly, He cares about you. (Jeremiah 29:11). That He is silent does not mean He has forsaken you. His delay does not mean He has denied your requests. Beloved, do not be afraid. When you walk with Jesus Christ, you are not expected to live in fear. Fear will blind your eyes to the power of God. It will cause you to think as though, God does not care about your pain and troubles. That was the same way Jesus Christ’s disciples reacted when they were attacked by a heavy storm in the sea. (see Mark 4:37-40). Though, they were in the same boat with Jesus when the storm was raging, yet, their lack of faith could not permit them to know that they were safe because Jesus Christ was in their midst; instead, they accused Jesus of negligence. They said, “Master, do you not care that we perish?” (v.38) They spoke to him as if he was not bothered about their troubles. However, he arose and rebuked the storm and it was arrested. I believe you are thinking the same way right now; that God does not care about what is bothering you. Friend, do not panic, rather keep calm. God will deliver you, rebuke your storm and calm your troubled heart. Be wise!
1. Pray and bless God for His mercies, direction and protection.
2. Confess your sin to God and ask for forgiveness and mercy.
3. Ask God for faith to believe that He cares about you.
4. Pray and destroy all satanic plans against you and your family.
May God arrest what is bothering you. May the Lord grant relief to you and cause your worries to cease, in Jesus’ name, amen.
