Verse Of The Day : Open my eyes so I can truly see the marvelous things in your law! Psalms 119:18

LISTEN : Life is full of mysteries, and until God opens our eyes we can see nothing. Only those whose eyes are opened know the will of God in any given situation. My dear, you will never understand what God does not reveal to you. (Deut. 29:29). To know His ways you should ask him to open your eyes spiritually. However, for your eyes to be opened, you must desire it. David prayed, “Open my eyes so I can truly see the marvelous things in your law!” (Psalms 119:18). This simply means that we all need divine help to see things from God’s perspectives. Beloved, without divine help you cannot understand the language of God. You cannot understand the word of God unless your eyes are opened spiritually. Spiritual blindness is responsible for rejecting the words of God. (Acts 26:18). Truly, if you are blind, it will be difficult to know the right way to go. My dear, there are beautiful things for you in the word of God; but until your eyes are opened you cannot discover them. (Ephesians 1:17-18). When your eyes are opened, the coverings of ignorance will disappear. You cannot grope anymore to find your way when you walk in the light of God. Like the joy of a blind person who suddenly regains his sight, you will experience unspeakable joy when your eyes are opened to hidden truths and blessings in the word of God. So, ask God to open your eyes today and you will discover hidden truths in His word. Remember, you will not understand the will of God until your eyes are opened to His word. Be wise!

TOPIC : THE GREATEST HOPE

Monday, March 30, 2020

Bible Verse : If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. 1 Corinthians 15:19

LISTEN : The greatest hope in life is to live with God in eternity. My dear, nothing in this life lasts forever. Only the words of God and those who fear and honour Him will live beyond this life. Therefore, you should learn to hope beyond this life by living in line with the will of God. Beloved, we should not limit our hope in Christ to this present life. The Bible says, “If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable” (1Cor. 15:19). Friend, when you live just for what the world can offer, surely, you will be miserable hereafter. Therefore, learn to spend your time, energy, resources, etc, on things with eternal value. Always hunger for God, because anyone who will wish for a blissful future with God must learn to hunger for righteousness. (Matthew 5:6). Beloved, if your life is not lived for God, then you have lived in vain. Remember, the hope of eternal life is the greatest hope. So, go for it. Be wise!

Prayer : Dear LORD! Help me to put my trust in you and to hope beyond this life, amen.
