Verse Of The Day : But verily God has heard me; he has attended to the voice of my prayer. Psalms 66:19

LISTEN : Fervent prayer from a dedicated heart is like a bomb, it never goes unnoticed, it certainly must leave a mark. Sincere prayer produces results. Prayer opens up channel of communication with God, and releases power from Him. The hand of God is full of miracles, but prayer of faith must pave the way for it to manifest. God wants us to ask for what we need. (Matthew 7:7-8). And it should be done through prayer. Prayers pave the way for God’s miracle-working power, and when it is His time, the answer will be delivered. This means that, certain things are hindered because prayer has been neglected. Satan rejoices when people neglect to pray. He is happy when the people of God see prayer as unattractive and boring. My dear, when you ignore prayer, you ignore the means of results. Certainly, your life cannot manifest what your mouth cannot provoke. Before you get it, you must talk to God about it. Sadly, prayer has become a neglected duty of the Christian faith. Many have lost passion for prayers, and are ready to go on for days, weeks or months without prayer. So sad! My dear, when passion for prayer is lost, passion for spirituality will diminish and gradually vanishes. Therefore, to maintain your spiritual fervor, and receive the miracle that you seek, you must increase your passion for prayer. Remember, prayers pave the way for God’s miracle-working power. Be wise!

EVENING

TOPIC : FEAR GOD FROM YOUR HEART

Sunday, April 14, 2019

Bible Verse : Honor all men, love the brotherhood, fear God, honor the king. 1 Peter 2:17

LISTEN : Our fear of God should both come from our hearts and our mouths. My dear, your responsibility to God is to love and fear Him dearly. And this you should do by obeying his commandments. Jesus Christ said to His disciples, “If you love me, you will obey my commandments.” (John 14:15). There are consequences for refusing to love and obey God. God will not ignore our disobedience forever, He will certainly visit and reward all our actions. The bible says, “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.” (Ecclesiastics 12:13). Therefore, let us walk in the fear of God. The fear of God in our lives will translate to love and respect for others. We can never love God and hate our fellow men. When we love God it challenges us to care about the well-being of others. So, let us fear God from our hearts and love others as we love ourselves. Be wise!

Prayer : Everlasting Father, help me to love and fear you from my heart as long as I live, in Jesus’ name, amen.
