Verse Of The Day: In everything, treat others as you would want them to treat you, for this fulfills the law and the prophets. Matthew 7:12

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY : To be loved, you must love and be seen to love others.

LISTEN: Certain things do not happen until certain actions are taken. Most times people want to see others take the lead in other to follow. Love is not an exception to this. Sometimes people complain about not being loved by others. But failed to understand that, to be loved, one should love others as well. What does it mean to love? It means to care about the well-being of others to the point that you can make sacrifices for them instead of planning their harm (1 Corinthians 13:1-7). You should give what you want to receive in return. My dear, if you sow the seed of love you would reap the harvest of love. In the same way, if you sow the seed of hate you will reap same in return. So, learn to be who you want others to be to you, and stop treating others the way you would not like to be treated. God wants us to present to others what is honourable and acceptable. (2Corinthians 8:21). In other words, we should not do, or say anything to others with the intention to deceive or harm them. As a matter of fact, we should learn to treat others with love, respect and dignity. Beloved, if we profess to know God, His Word should be our guide to a holy living, fairness, justice, uprightness, love and the like. Besides, His word should be the foundation of our actions. When His word is the foundation on which our actions are based, wrong actions and mistreatment of others would appear disgusting to us. My dear, our God is a good God and He loves uprightness and fairness. Therefore, let us stop mistreating, oppressing, afflicting and treating others unfairly, and begin to treat others the way we would like to be treated by others. Remember, for love to reign in our society, we must lead the way. Be wise!

EVENING

TOPIC : THE POWER OF HIS WORD

Wednesday, May 13, 2020

Bible Verse : By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. Psalms 33:6

LISTEN : God’s word is powerful. Yes, word is the power and weapon of God. He does everything by His word. He blesses, heals, delivers, fights, and does everything by His words. To know Him we should know His word. The more we read, understand, and act on the word of God, the more we will be able to move into the powerful manifestation of His presence. Understanding and believing the word of God can equally cause us to create things through the word. The same word that worked for God can work for us because we are created in the image of God. Beloved, God’s word is spirit, hence, acting on the word of God gives spirit and life to your own words. “Faith-filled” words are vehicles for a miracle. Faith gives life to your word and turns it into something supernatural. My dear, do you declare your words in faith? Do you know your word is lifeless without faith. Henceforth, speak in line with the word of God and you will see His great manifestation in your life. Remember, God’s word is powerful. Be wise!

Prayer : Everlasting Father, manifest your power in me today, in Jesus’ name, amen.
