Verse Of The Day : A glad heart makes a cheerful face, but by sorrow of heart the spirit is crushed. Proverbs 15:13
LISTEN : Laughter is amazing, but often neglected by many because of depression and circumstances of life. Laughter is an amazing ability that God gave us all. He meant to bless us with it. Laughing helps us cope with sadness and life. When life throws its arrows and missiles at us, a sincere laughter will cause us to overlook all, and outlast the unbearable. My dear, learn to laugh when it is necessary. Appreciate those who have a good sense of humour. Be joyful always and appreciate God’s amazing gift of laughter. Billy Graham of blessed memory said, “A keen sense of humor helps us to overlook the unbecoming, understand the unconventional, tolerated the unpleasant, overcome the unexpected, and outlast the unbearable.” I totally agree with him. A good sense of humour is an amazing gift to humanity. A person with a good sense of humour knows how to downplay worrisome situations by making others laugh about them. This skill can help you interact easily with others, improve your health, and even help you to stay calm in difficult situations. Beloved, be opened to laughter. Our Bible verse says, “A glad heart makes a cheerful face, but by sorrow of heart the spirit is crushed.” (Proverbs 15:13). My dear, gladness of heart will connect you to vigour and life; but depression will connect you to exhaustion, pain and death. Therefore, no matter the circumstance, don’t make room for depression. With depression, you have no business with joy and laughter. So, don’t stop laughing, it is a wonderful asset to you from God. (Psalms 118:24). Remember, he who embraces depression and stops laughing will soon stops living; for he who cannot appreciate God’s amazing gift (laughter) has no business with life. Be wise!

TOPIC : REPENT AND RECEIVE FORGIVENESS
Tuesday, March 26, 2019
Bible Verse : Peter said to them, “Repent, and each one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins… Acts 2:38
LISTEN : True repentance attracts forgiveness. Repentance according to the Bible is, “to change one’s mind.” (Romans 12:2). It means to turn to God and turn from evil. To truly repent, God needs to change your mind about sin. The Bible says “You who love the LORD, hate evil!” (Psalms 97:10). Beloved, true repentance happens when we see sin as God sees it. Until we treat sin as sin, repentance has not yet occurred in our lives. True repentance pleads with God to forgive and deliver from the influence of sin and the fear of eternal judgment and hell. Until we realise the consequences of sin and the need for our escape, we will continue to pamper sin to our own hurt; but when we repent, we are blessed with eternal life. My dear, open your eyes and heart to the will of God. Heed His warnings and run for your dear life. Repent and come to Him by faith and be blessed today. Remember, a bit of delay could be disastrous. Be wise!
Prayer : Everlasting Father, I repent of my sin today. Help me to live the rest of my life to the glory of your name, in Jesus’ name, amen.
