Verse Of The Day : Now in fact all who want to live godly lives in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. 2 Timothy 3:12

LISTEN : The fear of suffering for righteousness has kept lots of people from doing righteous deeds. For it’s believed that, in a wicked world, he who wants to stand for justice and uprightness makes himself a prey. However, where evil reigns, righteousness should reign far more. For if we (human beings) have the capacity to commit evil, we also have the capacity to do good if we’re determine to follow the will of God. No doubt, righteousness attracts persecution, but God is with the persecuted. To be persecuted is to be treated cruelly or unfairly especially because of your race or religious or political beliefs. A society dominated by evil is a threat to the righteous and righteousness in the land. Hence, anyone who is not determined to stand with God will lose courage to travel alone in the “highway of righteousness.”A society that finds joy in evil and ungodliness will always hunt and torment the godly for refusing to embrace corrupt systems and practices. However, those who want to live godly will not give up on striving to please God. Persecution for righteousness must not stop the desire to please God. My dear, we’re called to suffer for righteousness sake no matter what (1 Peter 2:21). Our suffering for righteousness is temporary, but we shall be eternally rewarded for enduring to the end. My dear, when you are persecuted for the sake of Jesus Christ and righteousness, give glory to God and stand firm in faith; knowing that we are called to suffer with Him. (2 Timothy 3:12 ). So, don’t faint when you’re suffering for Christ Jesus, instead, be strong and courageous, knowing that, he who endures to the end shall be saved. (Matthew 24:13). Remember, where evil reigns, righteousness should reign far more. Be wise!

TOPIC : WATCH FOR THE COMING OF CHRIST

Wednesday, October 16, 2019

Bible Verse : Therefore watch, for you do not know either the day or the hour in which the Son of man comes. Mathew 25:13

LISTEN: My dear, watch for the return of Christ to the world. A fool will take the message of Christ’s second coming as a fairy tale (2 Peter 3:3-11). The second coming of Jesus Christ to the world will shock the people of the earth. His coming will be a mixture of joy and sorrow. Joy to God’s children, and sorrow to the unfaithful and wicked (Daniel 12:1,2). His second coming will break the hearts of many, but put smiles in the faces of those who faithfully served God. Beloved, Jesus Christ will certainly return to judge the wicked world (Acts 17:30,31). He will judge the world in righteousness. Those who receive Him will not be condemned, but those who reject Him are condemned already. Beloved, are you prepared for His return? Do you know that He will come to the world unannounced? Our verse of the day says, “Therefore watch, for you do not know either the day or the hour in which the Son of man comes.”(Mathew 25:13). Beloved, our duty is to watch and wait for His return. We should guard against temptation by watching our actions, activities, conducts, evil trends, etc. We should be careful not to follow the world’s way of corruption and sin. We should guard against anything that will keep us from eternal life. My dear, be watchful; because he who misses eternal life will be doomed forever. Remember, Jesus Christ is coming soon. So, prepare for his return. Be wise!

Prayer : Everlasting Father, I believe in the second coming of Christ Jesus. Therefore, I will live wisely, in Jesus’ name, amen.
