Verse Of The Day : Do your best to present yourself approved by God, a workman who does not need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth. 2 Timothy 2:15

LISTEN : God is a Spirit, and His Word carries His Spirit. To know His word is to know Him. No one can know God if he or she is ignorance of God’s word. Jesus said, “You search the scriptures, because you think that in them you have eternal life;and these are they which testify about me.” (John 5:39). The word of God is what testifies about Him and His son Jesus Christ. God’s word is light. It gives directions, enlightens and saves from errors and the deceitfulness of sin. (Psalms 119:105).Our eyes are opened when we consistently and purposefully study and gain deeper knowledge and understanding of the word of God. When we spend our times in the Word of God, and properly handle the Word of truth, we are saved from embracing Satan’s lies. (John 8:32). The deeper we grow in the knowledge of God and His words, the livelier we become spiritually. Beloved, spiritual growth cannot occur when you are empty of the word of God. Besides, you cannot stand out or stand up for Christ when you are ignorant of God’s word. Because the word of God builds our faith, therefore, God cannot approve of anyone who is bankrupt of His word. So, try hard to be the kind of person that God will approve of. As a child of God, you should purposefully study the word of God to be able to teach others the true message accurately; and to tell the world about Jesus Christ and allow them to make their own choices of eternal destiny. Beloved, do not be ignorant of the word of God, instead, study to know it and be a faithful ambassador of Christ Jesus. Be wise!

TOPIC : JESUS IS THE CENTER OF OUR FAITH

Tuesday, December 11, 2018

Bible Verse : I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. John 15:5

LISTEN: Jesus Christ is the author and finisher of our faith. He is the center of our faith. He brought us to God, therefore we should serve His purpose. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We are created for His own glory, and when that purpose is not achieved we have failed Him. God wants us to be fruitful. He wants us to produce good results and become eternally productive. God wants us to be productive for His kingdom. He wants us to impact lives around the world and turn them over to Him. However, we cannot achieve that until our relationship with Him is sustained. Beloved, God wants us to faithfully serve Him and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ around the world. But, we cannot do His will or do anything of importance until we have chosen to connect and commit ourselves to Him. Jesus said, “I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5). Friend, we draw our strength from God. Therefore, fruitfulness in the Christian faith will be impossible if we are disconnected from Christ the source of supernatural strength. My dear, what is your relationship with Christ? Are you really doing what God expects of you? Are you truly depending on Him for strength and direction? If not, make a U-turn today by building a warm relationship with Jesus Christ. Be wise!
