Verse Of The Day : When a sentence is not executed at once against a crime, the human heart is encouraged to do evil. Ecclesiastics 8:11

LISTEN : Crime is a major concern to the world. It is a major problem facing humanity. Crime has been a threat to every generation. (Romans 6:23). It is the reason for countless problems people encounter on a daily basis. Effects of crimes are felt in the family , workplace, society, the world, etc. Sadly, we fail to check crime or criminal tendencies in its early stage. We fail to observe our children and rid them of criminal behaviours before it is too late. Instead, we condone, celebrate and feel proud of their criminal tendencies. What we refused to deal with in their lives have grown to be a thorn in our own flesh. What is crime? It is an action or omission which constitutes an offence and is punishable by law. No one is born a criminal, rather people are made or raised as criminals.

When parents, the government, or society fail to deal with crimes, crime will produce criminals that will deal with the people who failed to deal with it. (Galatians 6:7). We should not hesitate to deal with crime. People’s heart become hardened in evil when evil is not readily punished. People will readily take to crime if criminals are celebrated instead of being punished. Our Bible verse says, ” When a sentence is not executed at once against a crime, the human heart is encouraged to do evil.” (Ecclesiastics 8:11) Beloved, let us deal with crime and criminal tendencies as they spring up in our children, our lives, the society and around us. Let us ask God for wisdom to deal with crime to the glory of His name. Be wise!

Bible Verse : The integrity of the upright guides them, but the crookedness of the unfaithful destroys them. Proverbs 11:3

LISTEN : Integrity is priceless. It brings honour in the long run. Unfortunately, many do not regard integrity today. As a result, a lot of things have gone wrong because, integrity is missing in people’s lives. Many believe that the world systems do not support integrity; but as Christians we should live with integrity. What then is integrity? In the Old Testament, integrity means “the condition of being without blemish, completeness, sincerity, uprightness and wholeness.” In the New Testament, it means “honesty and keeping with a pattern of good works.” This is what children of God stand for. We should live like our Master Jesus Christ. Jesus is the perfect example of a man of integrity. Satan tempted Him repeatedly to break His integrity and corrupt Him, yet, He never sinned (Hebrews 4:15). Jesus is the only one who lived a perfect life, and always showing a pattern of good works. We (Christians) are called to be like Jesus. We should bear fruits of repentance and stop living like people of the world. (Luke 3:7-14). In Jesus, we are new creations and can be considered perfect before God because of what He has done for us. (2 Corinthians 5:17,21) . No doubt, living with integrity in a corrupt world is challenging, yet, we should be those who cannot be twisted or compromised because we serve a holy God. Beloved, invest in integrity because it brings honour. Be wise!

1. Thank the Lord for your day and the gift of life.
2. Pray for His forgiveness and mercy on your life.
3. Pray against following evil practices in the world; and ask the Lord to preserve you.
4. Ask for a good night sleep, and cancel Satan’s agenda over your life.

Today I prophesy to you, may God help you to live with integrity no matter what. May your life reflect the glory of God, in Jesus’ name, amen.

God bless you. See you tomorrow.
