Verse Of The Day : You have said, ‘It is vain to serve God;’ and ‘What profit is it that we have followed his instructions? Now we call the proud blessed; indeed, those who work wickedness prosper. They even tempt God and escape. Malachi 3:14-15

LISTEN : God has answers to all our questions. Yes! We may not understand everything now, but sooner or later we will. Couple of months ago. I told the story about a notable good man in a certain land, who had always helped and supported people in many ways. His people were fond of him because of his goodness to all. One day, he slept and couldn’t wake up. His family members were heartbroken and devastated. The people of his land gathered to mourn him. When his coffin was brought out for public view. A man jumped out from the crowd crying and sobbing profusely, and walked straight to the officiating Pastor and asked, “Sir, why do bad things happen to good people?” “God knows! Brother, God knows!” Replied the Pastor. My dear, like this man in our story, are you wondering why bad things happen to good people? Why the just often suffers innocently? Why they’re paid evil for their own good? Why they’re criticised for what they should be rewarded for? Given this perspectives, do you think it doesn’t pay to be good? Do you think it’s worthless to serve God? Beloved, it’s wrong to think like that. Yes, God knows more than we do. Certain things in life are mysterious, and only God has sincere answers to them. My dear, God has answers to all our questions. So, when you can’t find answers to some questions of life, trust God with them. He’ll answer them at the right time (Jeremiah 33:3). Life is good when we learn to leave certain things in the hands of the all-wise God, as we take time, thought and prayer to work things through. Surely, big issues take more time and thought and prayer to work through, but they also usually have a bigger and more lasting impact on the overall. Therefore, no matter how mysterious life seems, let us fear and serve God; and remember that it’s not a waste of time to serve the only true God (Malachi 3:14-18). Beloved, if life can’t give you the answers you seek, seek your answers in God. Be wise!

TOPIC : GOD PROMISES TO SUPPLY OUR NEEDS

Tuesday, April 28, 2020

Bible Verse : But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Phil. 4:19

LISTEN: Do you have faith that God can supply your needs? David said, The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing.” (Psalms 23:1). My dear, like David, is God your shepherd? Truly, God is the hope of every genuine Christian. God knows our needs and won’t fail to provide for us. He is rich in glory, and the entire world belongs to Him. He created us and knows what we need, and will provide us with our needs. He’ll surely provide for us. No doubt, we labour and make investments, but God is the one who gives the increase. If God doesn’t bless the works of our hands they can’t prosper. God has given us the assurance of divine provision. If we can ask Him for it He’ll supply us with the necessary provisions. (Matthew 7:7,8). We must learn to trust Him with our daily needs and be confident that He’ll not forsake us. His supply includes all our needs, not just some needs. God is the source of all good gifts and provisions. (James 1:17). Whatever we have achieved, we achieved by grace, not by our own strength. Beloved, think deep and you’ll realise that God’s hand is in everything you claim to have gotten by your own strength. So, stop worrying about what to eat, drink or wear, instead, trust God to honour the works of your hands. He’ll surely bless you with divine provisions. Remember, He has promised to supply our needs, therefore, we’ll lack nothing. Be wise!

Prayer : Eternal God! Thank you for you’re my provider. I put my trust in you now and always. Amen!
