Verse Of The Day : The fool has said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that does good. Psalms 14:1

LISTEN : The first test of true wisdom is the fear of God. And he who fails this test has demonstrated foolishness. Lack of fear of God makes people wicked. Yes, wickedness is an act of a corrupt mind; it is the product of a dead conscience. On the other hand, the fear of God makes us wise and sensitive to the will of God. We understand that God is everywhere even if we don’t see Him. All of nature talks about Him. The sun, moon, stars, vegetation, water, land, etc; and they all give evidence of His existence and reality (Psalms 24:1). Nothing exists without the instrument of God’s power. Besides, no one is in this world by chance. We are all here by divine appointment. However, until our eyes are open we wouldn’t see this truth. And until our hearts are open to spiritual understanding we will continue to quarrel with, and query God – our maker (Isaiah 45:9). My dear, do you still think or believe that there is no God? It is the height of foolishness to doubt the existence of God or questions His authority. A fool expresses the height of his folly by ridiculously questioning God Almighty, the Creator of heavens and earth. Beloved, do you think there is no God? Do you think you came to existence by way of evolution? You’re wrong! To think or believe that there is no God is to embrace Satan’s lies and ends like him. My dear, don’t be fooled by godless philosophies of men. The truth is, a natural man can’t think supernatural thoughts until he is dedicated to supernatural discovery. In the same way, a carnal person for lack of spiritual understanding will dispute the existence of God because his thoughts are corrupt, abominable and full of ignorance. Beloved, don’t be deceived, rather acknowledge God and worship Him as God. Be wise!

Having read today’s devotional, what is expected of you?

1. Don’t be fooled by godless philosophies of men, rather be made wise by the word of God.
2. Acknowledge the works of God in the world and bless His name for it
3. Don’t quarrel with God no matter the circumstance, or doubt His existence.
4. Develop your capacity to understand spiritual knowledge and mysteries.

Prayer : Most High God! I thank you because you are the Almighty and the only true God. Help me to worship you as long as I live, amen.

Reflection : A carnal man for lack of spiritual understanding will dispute the existence of God because his thoughts are corrupt and abominable.

Quote : “The first test of true wisdom is the fear of God. And he who fails this test has demonstrated foolishness.”

Faith Confession : In Jesus’ name, I confess that God Almighty exists as the only true God. Therefore, I will worship Him for the rest of my life, amen!

Biblical Fact : Did you know Sarah, Abraham’s wife lived 127 years old? (Genesis 23:1).

Today In History : April 6, 1830 Joseph Smith and five others organize the Church of Latter-Day Saints in Seneca, New York.

Stunning Fact : Did you know frogs don’t usually swallow water (they absorb most of the moisture they need through their skin)?

A Word Of Blessing : It is well with you. Today, I prophesy on your life, as you acknowledge and worship God, may He bless and deliver you from evil and wickedness, in Jesus’ name, amen!

TOPIC : YOU CAN BE MARVELOUSLY HELPED

Bible Verse : I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. Philippians 4:13

LISTEN : Do you know you can be marvelously helped if you trust in the living God. God enables His people to accomplish His purpose for their lives. He releases to us unusual strength to do what we can’t do by our own strength. Beloved, when God is involved everything is possible. The Bible says, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him that believes.” (Mark 9:23). You can’t be limited by any circumstance if your faith is alive and active. But where there is no faith, the power to encounter God is hindered. My dear, where faith reigns, doubt and fear will fade away like flowers. You can do all things because you have been empowered by the Most High God. So, no matter the circumstance, like Apostle Paul in our verse of the day, you can learn to say, “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.” My dear, have faith in God and He will increase His strength in you. Remember, God can marvelously help you if you trust in God. Be wise!

Prayer : Heavenly Father, increase your power in me and help me to do everything with the strength that only you can give, amen.
